Relationship Parents

Daughter and daughter in law.
It mentioned in Quran and/or Hadith about what to do when you are unable to care for your parents because you yourself are going through some financial difficulties?
My daughter is 17 years old and not muslim. She took home a male friend that lives 80 miles from us.
Mother father fight child take sides.
My friend's In-laws were wery rude to her. they use to swear at her and make her work all day.
She said know ,that she has more right on the children than i do.
