Answer:
Read surah baqarah in house
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Ref: Declaring the Adhaan on all four corners of
the house after laying its foundation.
This act or ritual of declaring
the ‘adhaan’ on all four corners of the house after or before laying the
foundation is not found in the authentic practice and traditions of the
Messenger of Allah (saws); and if one
does it, he will be guilty of the grave
sin of inventing or following a ‘bida’
or innovation in Islam.
Ref: The family members of the house ‘can’ read
Surah Baqarah in all rooms.
The believers are
allowed and encouraged to recite the Quran wherever they wish; thus they ‘can’
read Surah Baqarah in any or all rooms of the house.
But to make it a ritual, whereby
one, or all the family members ‘must’ read the Surah Baqarah or any Surah of
the Glorious Quran in all the rooms at the completion of the house, is not from
the authentic Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws); thus if one makes it a
ritual, then he will be guilty of the grave sin of inventing or following a
‘bidah’ or innovation in the deen of Islam.
Sunan of Abu-Dawood
Hadith 4515 Narrated by Ali ibn AbuTalib
The Messenger of
Allah (saws) said: “If anyone introduces an innovation, he will be responsible
for it. If anyone introduces an
innovation or gives shelter to a man who introduces an innovation (in
religion), he is cursed by Allah, by His Angels, and by all the people.”
Sahih Muslim Hadith
1885 Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah
The Messenger of
Allah (saws) said: “The best speech is
that embodied in the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance given
by me, (Muhammad (saws)). The most evil
affairs are their innovations; and every innovation is an error."
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
