Rewards of reciting particular surahs.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Assalaam u alaikum
Please advise me in the light of Quraan and Sunnah
whether the below has some authenticity in it because I have never heard of
such a thing before. I have got it as a forward from one of my Muslim friend.
Also tell us what to refer to so as to check if a
particular thing is authentic.
Power of the
Qur'an
1. Sura Yasin relief from azaab in the
grave
2. Sura Rehman it will make us rich
3. Sura Al Waquiya it will release u from hunger
4. Sura Al Mulk brings light in the grave
5. Sura Al Jasia it will bring peace in our lives
sirf ek bar Duroood Shareef parh ke ye message frwd kar dain.
Is tarah se banne wali chain ka sawab apko bhi milta rahega aur ham sab ko bhi.

Answer:
Rewards of reciting
particular surahs
In the name of Allah,
We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah
guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide
them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah
Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the
seal of His Messengers.

To the best of our knowledge
there is absolutely no evidence in either the Glorious Quran or the authentic
Sunnah which prescribes the specific rewards quoted above for reciting the
specific Surahs!
There is absolutely no doubt
that the recitation of the blessed Surahs of the Glorious Quran are meritorious
in the Sight of Allah Subhanah, but the above rewards specified to the
recitation of a specific Surah is merely conjecture and an invention of the
ignorant….it has absolutely nothing to do with the guidance of the Quran or the
Sunnah! And Allah Alone Knows Best.
If one trusts, obeys, and
follows the guidance and commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured of never ever being
misled; but if one believes, obeys and
follows any other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of
Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever
of error is of me alone. Allah Alone
Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
