One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

 

i am a bohri revert an i am praticing Islam with the right faith Alhamdulilllah however my problem is that i am saying a no to bohri boys since they have a wrong faith my family is also not supporting me for my beliefs an i am getting pressurized back home so how do i find a muslim boy for myself when my parents are not helping me out an i am all alone so how do i go about looking for proposals single handedly????

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

May the Lord Most Merciful accept your repentance and your reversion to the Truth of Al-Islam, and make your trials easy for you.

 

Beloved Sister in Islam, one can only imagine the plight and helplessness of a single woman who has reverted to the Truth of Islam, and seeks marriage with a righteous believer without the support and assistance of her immediate family.  Beloved sister, rest absolutely assured that your Lord is well aware of the exact condition and state of each in His creation; and when He has guided you to the Truth, rest assured He Alone is sufficient for all your needs.

 

Your Question: how do i go about looking for proposals single handedly????

In our humble opinion, the best solution in the situation you have described is to approach an Islamic Guidance Center in your vicinity through a pious muslim sister or even may be talk to the wife of the Imam of your local mosque; for these brothers have knowledge of good righteous brothers seeking marriage; and if Allah Wills and Pleases, these brothers will be able to locate a suitable proposal for you.

 

And above all beloved sister, keep your full trust and belief in your Lord Creator Who guided you from darkness into Light; and remain absolutely constant in your supplications towards Him for all your needs; for Allah Alone Suffices for all the needs of His believing and repentant slaves.

 

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah Fatir verse 2:

Whatever door of Mercy Allah may open for the people,  none can withhold it;    and the door that He closes,  none has the power to open it after Him. He (Alone) is The Exalted in Power, Wise. 

 

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
