What gives us the right to propogate Quran and Islam
Mu` meneen
Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam
Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah`s Peace, Mercy and Blessings
be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
The Quran has facts from "the beginning to Qayamat" I
believe you would agree with this? Then how come a common man, a slave that you
call yourself could read this Holy Quran and decide and know for yourself and
for others, what has Allah in store for them? Why do you make yourself so
special? Are you really a slave or a Messiah who is doing something he is not
supposed to do, mainly trying to induce wrong beliefs in my fellow dawoodi
bohra mumineens, by propagating perhaps the right meaning of Quran(which you
are not supposed to know) but presenting in a wrong way. May Allah help you
come to the right way AGAIN
(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above
statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and
statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)
Answer:
What gives us the right to
propograte Quran and Islam
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
My beloved brother in Islam, Allah Subhanah revealed His Glorious Message
in the form of the Holy Quran as a guidance for all of mankind.
"Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this
Book is a perfect guidance for mankind and consists of CLEAR teachings
which show the Right Way, and are a Criterion of the Truth and falsehood."
Your Statement: Then how
come a common man, a slave that you call yourself could read this Holy Quran
and decide and know for yourself and for others, what has Allah in store for
them?
Indeed, we
are common men, and humble slaves of
our Creator. We constantly seek His
Forgiveness, His Mercy and His
Guidance. We all belong to Allah
Subhanah, and to Him is our ultimate return. We dare not decide for ourselves or for
anyone else what is in store for them from ourselves; for it does not behove the slaves of Allah to ever do such a
thing! Our opinion is purely based on
what Allah Subhanah and His Noble Messenger (saws) have said in the Quran and
Sunnah. And Allah is a witness to
this Truth that whatever Allah and His Messenger (saws) have declared will
surely happen.
Your Question: Why do you
make yourself so special?
We seek the forgiveness of Allah Subhanah from the
weakness of ourselves, and seek the
refuge of Allah Subhanah from ever claiming anything that does not behove the
believers to claim. We are no more
than humble slaves of the One and Only Merciful Lord of the Universe!
Your Statement: Are you
really a slave or a Messiah who is doing something he is not supposed to do,
mainly trying to induce wrong beliefs in my fellow dawoodi bohra mumineens, by
propagating perhaps the right meaning of Quran(which you are not supposed to
know) but presenting in a wrong way.
We bear witness that we are no more than humble
slaves of the Merciful Lord. If He
does not have Mercy on us and forgive us our shortcomings, we will surely be ruined. We turn to our Merciful Lord Alone for all
our needs, and He Alone is Sufficient
for the believers.
Allah
Subhanah revealed His Divine Message unto all of mankind, so that whoever, of his own free will,
wishes to heed to good caution may do so. Allah Subhanah has made it a duty unto every believer who
understands the Truth of the Quran, to
propagate that Truth to all who are willing to listen to good caution. To accept or reject the Truth is upto the
individual alone!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 16 Surah Nahl verse 89:
We have sent down to you this Book, which makes everything
plain, and is a guidance, blessing and good news to those who have
surrendered themselves entirely.
Allah
Subhanah has Himself declared that this Glorious Quran makes everything
plain, is a guidance, and a blessing and good news for the
believers who have surrendered themselves.
But some unfortunate people unjustly claim that this Message of Allah is
not supposed to be understood!!!!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 41 Surah Ha Mim As Sajdaah
verse 2-4:
This is a Revelation from the All-Compassionate, the All-Merciful Allah. A Book whose verses are well-expounded, an Arabic Quran for the people who want to
understand, and a giver of good news and a warner.
Allah
Subhanah Himself declares that this Glorious Quran is a Book whose verses are
well-expounded, and a guidance for the
people who ‘want’ to understand it!
May Allah have mercy on the people who declare that this Book is not supposed
to be understood.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 30 Surah Rum
verses 58-60:
We have set forth in this Quran every sort of
argument to make the people understand;
but whatever ‘aayah’ you may bring, the disbelievers will certainly say,
“You are following falsehood”. Thus
does Allah seal up the hearts of those who understand not. So, patiently persevere; for surely the
promise of Allah is True. And let not
those who have no certainty of faith,
shake your firmness.
The people who refuse to
understand the Glorious Quran are always the foremost in accusing the believers
of the Quran of following falsehood!
Little do they realize that Allah Subhanah has sealed up their hearts
for their obstinence!!
Allah says in the
Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 159:
Those who conceal the clear (Revelations) and Guidance
We have sent down, after We have made
it clear for the people in the Book, on
them shall be Allah’s ‘laanah’ and the ‘laanah’ of those who are entitled to
curse!
Allah
has put His curse on the people who try to conceal the clear Revelations and
Guidance of the Glorious Quran from mankind!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 43-44:
So, hold fast to the Book
that has been revealed to you, you are
surely on the Siraat al Mustaqeem. The
fact is that this book is a great honor for you and your people, and soon you shall be CALLED TO ACCOUNT for
it.
Some people say that the Book of Allah should not
be understood, and obviously if one
never understands it, he will not obey
and follow its clear commands! But
Allah guides the believers to hold fast to this Glorious Quran, for those who do, are surely on the Straight Path of Islam. And on an Inevitable Day, Allah shall surely call all of mankind to
account for it.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah Anaam
verse 157-158:
Now that a clear proof, a Guidance and Blessing, has come to you from your Lord, who can be more unjust than the one who
treats Our Revelations as false and turns away from them? We will inflict the severest torment on
those who turn away from Our Revelations because of their aversion. Do the people now await that the angels
should come down before them? Or that
your Lord may Himself come down? Or
that the manifest Signs of your Lord should appear?
Some
people declare that the Book of Allah is not for us to understand!!!! Allah Subhanah declares that those who
treat His Revelations as false and thus turn away from them are unjust, and will come under the severe Wrath and
Punishment of Allah Subhanah.
So, what will make these people understand the
Message of the Quran? Are they
awaiting that the angels of Allah should come down before them? Or that the Majestic and Supreme Lord of
the Universe should Himself come down before them? Or that some of the Lord’s Manifest Signs or Miracles should
appear before them? Will these unjust
people who refuse to understand and accept the Guidance of the Quran, believe only then?
We
seek the refuge of Allah Subhanah from the people who refuse to accept and
understand the Message of the Glorious Quran!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraaf
verses 2-3:
This is a Book which has been sent down to
you. So, let there be no hesitation in your mind about it. This has been sent down that you may
thereby warn (the disbelievers), and
that it may be an Admonition to the believers. O people, follow what
has been sent down to you from your Lord,
and do not follow other ‘auliyaas’ besides Him. But you seldom take Admonition!
The
unjust people who refuse to accept and understand the Revelations of Allah
Subhanah have done so, only because
some of their ‘auliyaas’ or self-declared holy men have told them not to accept
and understand the Quran.
These
ignorant people refuse to accept what Allah has commanded them to do; but are ever-ready to accept every command
of their self made ‘auliyaas’!
Who
has a right to be more Truthful: Allah
or the ‘auliyaas’?
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus
verses 40-44:
Some of these people will believe in (The Quran), and others will not. Your Lord knows these mischief-makers very
well indeed. If these people deny you, say to them: “I am responsible for my deeds
and you are for yours. You are not
accountable for what I do, nor am I for
what you do.” There are many among them
who hear what you say, but will you
make the deaf to listen to you, even
though they be incapable of understanding this? Then there are many others among them who see you. But will you show the way to the
blind, even though they be bereft of
sight? The fact is that Allah does not
in any way wrong the people, but they
wronged themselves!
Our
duty was only to convey the Message of the Glorious Quran to you…..Allah
Subhanah Himself declares that some people will believe in it, and some others will reject it!
We
ask for no thanks or appreciation for our humble services; our reward is with our Merciful Lord
Alone. Allah is our witness that we
have fulfilled our duty unto you and invited you to read, understand,
obey and follow the guidance of the Glorious Quran. We are responsible for our deeds and you
will be held responsible for yours.
Have
you ever wondered what will be the state of the people who disobeyed Allah
Subhanah on the command of their self-made ‘auliyaas’ and self-declared holy
men, on that Inevitable Day???
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf
verse 29:
Proclaim, “This (Quran) is the Truth from your
Lord: now whosoever wills may accept
it, and whosoever wills may reject it.”
(As for those who reject it) We have prepared for such workers of iniquity a
fire whose flames have encircled them.
There, if they ask for water
, they will be given a drink like the
dregs of oil, which will burn their
mouths! What an evil drink, and what an evil abode!
Dear
Brother in Islam, we have fulfilled
our duty unto you, and invited you to
read and understand the Glorious Quran.
If you will, you may accept
it; and come to the vast Mercy and
Forgiveness of the Lord of the Universe.
And if you will, you may reject
it, and await the Judgement of the
Lord on a Day when no one will have the power to help or save another! On that Inevitable Day, all the false promises and hopes given by
the self-declared holy men and ‘auliyaas’ to their followers will be declared
falsehood; and only the Truth as
declared by the Holy Quran will prevail.
Your Statement: May Allah
help you come to the right way AGAIN.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 108:
(O Mohamed) tell them plainly, “This is my Way! I invite you to Allah. I myself see my Way in full light, and my followers see it too. And Allah is absolutely free from
defect, and I have nothing to do with
those who invoke others with Allah.”
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 43 Surah Zukhruf verses 43-44:
So, hold fast to the Book
that has been revealed to you, you are
surely on the Siraat al Mustaqeem. The
fact is that this book is a great honor for you and your people, and soon you shall be CALLED TO ACCOUNT for
it.
Allah Subhanah Himself declares that the Way of the
Quran is indeed the Siraat al Mustaqeem (Straight Way)!
The
decision one has to make for himself is follow the Right Way as declared by
Allah Subhanah; or follow the way as
declared by the self-declared ‘auliyaas’ or Maulas of the Dawoodi Bohra
sect?
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22
Surah Hajj verse 78:
Exert your utmost for the cause of
Allah, as one should. He has chosen you for His service and has
not laid on you any hardship in your deen.
Therefore, be steadfast in the
religion of your father, Abraham.
Allah had called you ‘Muslims” before this, and has called you (by the same name) in this Quran also, so that the Messenger may be a witness in
regard to you, and you may be witnesses
in regard to the rest of mankind.
Therefore, establish the
‘salaat’ and pay the ‘zakaat’, and hold fast to Allah. He (Allah) is your ‘Maula’: what an excellent ‘Maula’ and what an excellent Helper!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verses 13:
Then, instead of Allah, he invokes those who can do him neither harm nor good. This is the last extremity of
deviation. He invokes those who are
more likely to do him harm, than good! What
an EVIL ‘MAULA’ he chooses, and what an
evil companion.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me. Allah
Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
