Answer:
Fear of Community
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can
misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We
bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Beloved brother, you have indeed
written the Truth! It has always
happened, that although one may recognize the truth, but because of social or
economic fears, the people sometimes are unable to take a stand. It has always happened in the
annuls of history, that whenever someone proclaimed the Truth, the
people of means always turned against them!
But the matter in religion is such, that not taking a stand on the side of the Truth, may
jeopardize the whole eternal and ever-lasting life of the Hereafter. Whatever the sect leaders might do, and
whatever types of ‘baraat’ they use, and whatever
trouble and injustice they might bring upon the people declaring the Truth; one
must realize that all these are just transitory trials of this worldly life,
and all troubles will end with death!
Those who sincerely believe in Allah and the Last Day,
do not fear these transitory worldly trials; but rather, they fear the standing
in the Court of Allah on an Inevitable Day!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imran verse 175:It was Shaitaan
who was frightening the people with the fear of his ‘awliyaas’; therefore,
in future, do not fear men, but fear Me (Allah), if you are true believers.
We must always remember that
these worldly trials are nothing compared to the Trial of the Hereafter, where each
individual will be brought alone in the Court of Allah to give a full
accounting of his deeds. That is
something that one should really fear!;
not what will happen if one takes the side of Truth in this world; or what will his society think; or how will one get married; or how will one get buried; or what will be the consequences of ‘salaam-bandh’; or whatever
other trials that may come in the Way of Allah.
The Truth is that all Power and
all Strength belongs to Allah Subhanah
Alone! If all the aamils
sahibs and all the human beings of the world would get together to bring some
harm upon you; they would not be able to do so, without the permission of Allah
Subhanah! Therefore, do not fear men; but fear the
Lord, Who Created everything in existence; and to Whom
we must all be returned One Day!
May Allah give you and us all the courage to always stand with the Truth. And the Truth is only what Allah and His Messenger (saws) have guided the believers towards…. Only the promises of Allah and His Messenger (saws) will come forth as Truth in this world and the hereafter… and the all the promises made by man, with no authority from the Quran and Sunnah, will vanish on the Day of Judgment!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 165-167:There are people who set up equals and rivals with Allah and adore them
with the adoration due to Allah! Whereas the believers adore Allah most ardently. Would that these transgressors could realize
now what they will realize, when they see the chastisement before them: that power and authority wholly belong to
Allah, and that Allah is severe in punishment!
When He will inflict punishment, those very leaders and guides whom they
followed in the world will disown them.
But punishment they shall get and all their bonds shall be cut off. Then those who followed them will say, “Would
that we were given another chance to return to the world. Then we will disown them just as they have
disowned us today!” Thus Allah will
bring before them the deeds they did in the world, in such a manner, as to make
them wring their hands in regret, but they shall be unable to come out of the
Fire.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
