Change the name of the website

brothers/sisters has asked this question:

i would like to convey my best wishes
to your forum, no doubt it is one of the excellent forum , i
m trying forward your question and answers to all my friends and family
members, but maximum people rejecting/unsbscribing ,
the forum without reading any of the question/answer, the reason mainly is the
name of your website, no doubt all your replies are based on hadith and quran, but the name of
forum misleading all other musallmah , and they
are thinking that, this forum is something to do with bohras,change
in name may benefit all the muslim brothers and
sisters. with lots of wishes and duva

Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can
misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We
bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Jazak Allah Kheir and may Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this life and the
hereafter, for recognizing the Truth of the Quran and
Sunnah. And
may Allah reward you with the best for distributing the articles of this forum
to your friends and family, and helping us spread the Truth of the Message of
Allah and His Messenger (saws).
We are aware of the problem with
the believers, who when they see the name of the website, think this is a Bohra propagation site, and ignore or delete them! The only reason we started this forum is
that we wanted to help our Bohra brethren understand
the clear guidance and teachings of the Glorious Quran,
and give them an avenue to ask any type of questions on Islam, which they are
not allowed to ask their scholars in their sect. With the help, Grace, and Mercy of Allah,
our articles are sent to almost 150,000 readers… although the majority of the
readers are brothers and sisters from the Dawoodi Bohra sect, there are many believers who have subscribed to
our web-site. All Praise is due to Allah
Alone, Who has honored us to do this humble work in His Blessed Name, and for
His Pleasure Alone.
Brother, there are many good
Islamic sites where our brethren from mainstream Islam can ask questions and
receive their answers…
but for the Bohra brethren, who
unconditionally believe and follow their sect leaders without ever being
allowed to ask any questions, this is probably the only site. Our only fear in changing the name of the
site is that we may alienate our Dawoodi Bohra brethren, who are in desperate need of guidance from
the Holy Quran, so that they may recognize the false
beliefs of ‘shirk’ which they follow and obey unconditionally, and without any
basis or authority from the Quran and Sunnah; so that they may save themselves and their families
from the everlasting torment of Hell Fire.
Allah is our witness, there is no other reason
for this name.
We are in the process of
contemplating opening a mirror or parallel site where any believer (or even
non-believers) may post their questions, and if Allah Wills and Helps us, we
shall be starting it soon.

and Sunnah.
