Bohras different from Muslims

Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be
upon all of you)
One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
As Salaam Aleikum First of all I am very thankful to u & the
developers of this site. I read many ques. & Asws. sent to me and I
knew,what is true and what is false. My english is not too well, so there might
be some grammatical mistakes. So, plz don`t consider them. My questin : Being a
Dawoodi-Bohra & strong believer in Islaam & his messenger(SAWS) &
ALI(AS) & at last Imam-uz-Zaman & our Dai(T.U.). I am too much deeply
impressed by them that I can`t hear any word said against them. One thing I
have to ask u is that : I have attended many Waazs, in all these Waazs I noted
one thing, that in every Waaz even of our Aqua Moula Syedna Mohammed
Burahanuddin(T.U.), they have clearly stated the we (the Bohras) are (totally)
different from other muslims of the world. B`cz most of them don`t follow
ALI(A.S.). But when I read

Answer:
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can
misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We
bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your comment: I noted one thing, that in
every Waaz even of our Aqua Moula Syedna Mohammed Burahanuddin(T.U.), they have
clearly stated the we (the Bohras) are (totally) different from other muslims
of the world. B`cz most of them don`t follow ALI(A.S.). But when I read
Brother, the reason it is the duty of every muslim to help and defend his brother muslim is because it is the command of Allah Subhanah in the Holy Quran and the guidance of the Last Messenger of Allah, Mohamed ar-Rasool Allah (saws).
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 49 Surah Hujuraat verse 10:The ‘muminoon’ (believers) are
brothers of one another. So set the
relations right between your brothers and fear Allah. It is expected that you will be shown mercy.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verses 71-72:The believing men and the believing
women, they are the protectors of one another; they enjoin what is good and
forbid what is evil; they establish salaat, pay the zakaat, and obey Allah and
His Messenger. It is they upon whom
Allah will most surely send His blessings.
Allah is the All Mighty, All Wise.
Allah has promised to the believers, both men and women, the Gardens
underneath which canals flow and wherein they will abide forever; there will be
neat and clean dwelling places for them in those Gardens of perpetual bliss;
and above all, they will enjoy Allah’s Pleasure. That is the Supreme Success!
It is reported in an
authentic narration that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Do not hate
one another, nor be jealous of one another; and do not desert one another, but
O Allah's worshipers! Be Brothers! And it is unlawful for a Muslim to desert
his brother Muslim (and not to talk to him) for more than three nights."
The Messenger of
Allah (saws) said in an authentic narration: "A Muslim is a brother of another
Muslim, so he should not oppress him, nor should he hand him over to an
oppressor. Whoever fulfilled the needs
of his brother, Allah will fulfill his needs; whoever brought his (Muslim)
brother out of a discomfort, Allah will bring him out of the discomforts of the
Day of Resurrection, and whoever screened a Muslim, Allah will screen him on
the Day of Resurrection."
The Messenger of
Allah (saws) said: “The Muslim Ummah is the likeness of a human body. If one part of the human body feels pain,
the whole body is in pain.”
Your Comment: So, it make me confuse,
that why we(Bohras) should defend them(other muslims).
The reason you seem confused is because you have preferred the opinion of some self-proclaimed leader over the teachings and guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws). Allah and His Messenger (saws) have bound and declared all the muslims in the Universal Brotherhood of Islam. Allah and His Messenger (saws) have declared that a believer is a brother of another believer; but unfortunately some sects have moved away from this guidance and tried to break the Unity of the Muslim Brotherhood. They have created their own sects in the name of Islam, and have clearly dis-obeyed the command and teachings of the Holy Quran.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 23 Surah Mu’minoon verse 52-54:And you all belong to one and the
same ummah, and I(Allah) am your Lord; so fear Me Alone! Yet afterwards the people divided themselves
into different sects, and each sect rejoicing
in what it has. Well, leave them
deeply involved in their heedlessness up to an appointed time.
Allah says in Chapter
30 Surah Rum aayat 31-32:”This (Islam) is the right and true faith, but most
people do not know. (Be steadfast on this) turning wholly and sincerely towards
Allah Alone, and fear Him, and establish the Salat, and do not be like the
mushriks, who have set up their separate creeds and divided themselves into
sects, each sect rejoicing in what it has."
Your comment: Next, As I have heard that
at the time of zuhur of Imam, We will fight with other communities. Is it true?
If yes, then we will fight to convert other peoples to muslims or we will fight
for the sake of Islaam.
The ‘zuhoor’ of the 21st
Imaam is a story invented by the sect leaders and have absolutely no evidence,
proof, authority or basis from the Holy
Quran! And since there is not going to
be any ‘zuhur’ of the 21st Imam as believed by some sect, there is not going to be a fight, nor will be there be any conversions! It is nothing but a lie which has been told
by the sect leaders to keep their followers away from the True Deen of Islam as
taught to the believers by Allah and His Last Messenger, Mohamed ar-Rasool
Allah (saws).
My beloved brother, read and study
the Holy Quran in any language you understand best; and then determine from this Book of Guidance who is on the Right
Path and who is astray. Allah revealed
His Book for the guidance of mankind, but some people created and invented
names and made graves over their pious holy men for their own worship, without any authority from Allah
Subhanah, and started thinking that
this was the deen of Islam!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 7 Surah Aaraf verse 71:He (Prophet Hud) said (to the
disbelievers): “You have already
incurred the curse of Allah and His Wrath.
Do you dispute with me about mere names which you and your forefathers
have invented, and for which Allah has sent down no authority? Well, you may wait, and I,
too, will wait with you.”
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 12 Surah Yusuf verse 40:The beings you worship other than Allah
are nothing more than mere names that you and your forefathers have invented,
for Allah has sent down no authority for them! Sovereignty belongs to none but Allah. He has commanded that you shall not worship anyone but Him. This is the Right and
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 18 Surah Kahf verses 103-106:Tell them (O Mohamed), “Should We
tell you who are the most unsuccessful people and miserable failures in regard
to their deeds? They are those, all
whose edeavours in the worldly life,
had gone astray from the
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
