Is opening a Billiards parlor Halal?

Answer:

 

Is Billiards parlour allowed?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

Entertainment is a natural demand of man,  and Islam is a Way of Life that accommodates everything which is natural and wholesome. One must remain in the boundaries laid down by Shariah,  if indeed he fears Allah and the Last Day.

 

There is no restriction or harm in opening a billiards parlor as long as no alcohol is served and no gambling is permitted in the premises.

 

And Allah Alone Best.
