One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:
Is it bad to talk to friends or
girlfriend about sex? what does islam say about it? what should i do if i see
naked girls all the time in my dream (wet dream)? is there any way to stop it
or avoid it? does sex has harmful effect on body? from which age sex can be
done?

Answer:
Talk about sex to friends
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Q-1: Is it bad to talk to friends or girlfriend
about sex?
Firstly, it is absolutely prohibited in Islam for an
adult male to have any relationships, or make friends with non-mehram
women. The concept on having
non-mehram girl-friends is absolutely forbidden in Islam!
It is not
only bad, but it is absolutely
prohibited in Islam to talk about ones sexual experience with anyone. The Messenger of Allah (saws) invoked the
curse of Allah on the people who have sex,
and then relate their experiences to other people.
Q-2: what should i do if i see naked girls all
the time in my dream (wet dream)?
Allah
Subhanah will only hold one accountable for the deeds which one does in his
full senses. A person has no control
over his dreams, thus Allah will not
hold the person accountable for what he saw and did in his dreams. There is no sin on the person who
experiences a ‘wet dream’, because
one’s dreams are not in one’s control.
All good
dreams are from Allah; and all evil
dreams are from the Shaitaan. If one
sees an evil dream, the Messenger of
Allah (saws) has guided and taught the believers that whenever they wake up
from an evil dream, they should ‘spit’
three times over their left shoulder, and recite: “Aoodo Billahe minas Shaitaan
ar Rajeem” (I seek refuge in Allah from
Shaitaan, the cursed).
Q-3: is there any way to stop it or avoid it?
It is the
Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) that he would seek the refuge of Allah
and recite the 113th and 114th Surahs of the Quran (Surah
Falak and Surah Naas) before he went to sleep. He (saws) said that Allah Subhanah would protect the one who
seeks refuge in Him, from the cursed
Shaitaan, for the whole night.
If one
regularly practices this Sunnah of reciting the 113th and 114th
Surah of the Quran before he sleeps,
and sincerely seeks refuge in Allah from Shaitaan; it is expected that Allah Subhanah will
protect him form any and all evil.
Q-4: does sex has
harmful effect on body?
Having
sex is natural, and no amount of sex
can have a harmful effect on the body.
Q-5: from which age sex can be done?
After the
age of puberty, a person becomes aware
of his/her sexual desires. Thus, it all depends on what age one gets married
after puberty. Islam has made it a condition
that one must marry before he has sex with his spouse. Pre-marital sex or fornication is
absolutely forbidden in Islam, is
considered a grave sin, and is
punishable by 100 lashes for the man and the women.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
