Answer:

When is fate destiny written for each soul

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Respected brother in Islam, The Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme has neither a need nor does he wait for one night of the year to ‘write’ the fate of each individual!!!!  Everything, and we reiterate, absolutely everything that has happened or will happen until eternity is the Absolute and Perfect Knowledge of Allah Subhanah, for the Lord Most Exalted is not restricted nor defined by the elements or magnitude of time!

What is known as ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ is not written on any one night of the year….but this ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ or ‘Al-Qadr’ was documented by The Lord Creator long before anything was brought into existence!

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 94 Narrated by Ubadah ibn as-Samit

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘The first thing which Allah created was the Pen. He (The Lord Most Exalted) commanded it to write. It asked: ‘What should I write?’ He (The Lord Most Glorified) said: ‘Write the Decree (Al-Qadr)! So it wrote what had happened and what was going to happen up to eternity.’

Then when the soul is about to be breathed in the unborn child in its mother’s womb, Allah Subhanah Commands an Angel to document some amongst the ‘fate’ or ‘destiny’ of this being which is already secured in the ‘Qadr’ or Absolute Knowledge of Allah Subhanah….ie. its deeds, its sustenance, its time of death, and whether it will be blessed or wretched.

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.430         Narrated by Abdullah bin Musud

Allah's Messenger (saws), the true and truly inspired said, "(The matter of the Creation of) a human being is put together in the womb of the mother in forty days, and then he becomes a clot of thick blood for a similar period, and then a piece of flesh for a similar period. Then Allah sends an Angel who is ordered to write four things. He is ordered to write down his (i.e. the new creature's) deeds, his livelihood, his (date of) death, and whether he will be blessed or wretched (in religion). Then the soul is breathed into him.”

And contrary to popular belief, the night of Mairaaj is absolutely unrelated to the Decrees of Destiny of the Lord Most Supreme.  It is on the Night of ‘Laylatul-Qadr’ in Ramadan whereby Allah Subhanah releases the important Commands from his ‘Qadr’ unto His Noble Angles as errands to be performed during that year.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 97 Surah Al-Qadr verses 1-5:

1        We have indeed revealed this (Message) in the Night of Power:

2        And what will explain to thee what the Night of Power is?

3        The Night of Power is better than a thousand Months.

4        Therein come down the Angels and the Spirit (Hadrat Jibrael (a.s.) by Allah's Permission, on every errand:

5        Peace!... This until the rise of dawn!

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
