Mu' meneen Brothers
and Sisters,

One of our

(There may be some
grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not

Answer:
Tabe Tabein
In the name of Allah,
We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah
guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide
them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness
that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: Who were Tabee Tab`een ?? What role did they
play for the propagation of Deen ??
’Tabe-Tabe’en’ is a term used
for the generation of believers,
who, while in the state of
belief, saw and met someone of the
generation of the ‘Tabe’en’, which is
the name of the generation who, in the state in belief, saw and met someone of the generation of the
Sahabah (the noble companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws).
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Hadith 3.819 Narrated by Zahdam
bin Mudrab
I heard Imran bin
Husain saying, "The Prophet (saws) said, 'The best people are those living
in my generation (The Sahaabahs) , then those coming after them (The Tabe’en), and then those coming after (The
Tabe-Tabe’en).' "
‘Sahaabah’ is the Islamic term
used for the generation of believers,
who while in the state of belief,
saw the Messenger of Allah (saws) themselves.
‘Tabe’en’ is the term used for
the generation of believers, who while
in the state of belief, did not see the
Messenger of Allah (saws), but saw the
‘Sahaabahs’ or noble companions of the Messenger of Allah (saws).
And ‘Tabe-Tabe’en’ is the term
used for the generation of believers,
who while in the state of belief,
did not see the Sahaabahs, but
saw the Tabe’en.
During the generation of the
Tabe’en and Tabe’Tabe’en, Islam was the
dominant religion and culture in the major part of the then known world; and among the Tabe Tabe’en were some of the
best Scholars of Jurisprudence, Islamic
Administrators, Judges, Teachers,
Memorizers and Reciters of the
Glorious Quran, Memorizers and
Collectors of ahaadiths, etc. the history of Islam has ever seen. They were
instrumental in spreading Islam to every known corner of the then known world.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
