Answer:
Can Muslims play
with dolls?
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none
can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright.
We bear witness that there is no one (no idol,
no person, no grave, no
prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Hadith 8.151 Narrated by Aisha
I used to play with
the dolls in the presence of the Prophet (saws), and my girl friends also used
to play with me. When the Messenger of
Allah (saws) used to enter (my dwelling
place) they used to hide themselves,
but the Prophet (saws) would call them to join and play with me.
In light of the above
narration, there is no harm if small
children who have not reached the age of puberty to play with dolls, etc.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in
Islam,
Burhan
