Answer:

Atonement for intentionally breaking fast

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

May Allah Subhanah reward you with the best of this world and the Hereafter for your kind comments of encouragement for our humble efforts in the propagation of the Truth.  If our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful to serve in His Cause.  We hope, beg, and pray the Merciful Lord accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgives us our shortcomings, and saves you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the Hell Fire.  Ameen.

Your Question: …..what i wanted to ask u is can the concluding witr salah be the isha witr prayer

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.112         Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar

The Prophet (saws) said, "Make Witr as your last prayer at night."

If one has no intention to offer any late night voluntary prayers after the conclusion of their obligatory ‘Isha’ prayers, there is absolutely no harm if one offers the ‘shafa’ (2-rakah) + the ‘witr’ (1-rakah) prayer after their obligatory ‘Isha’ prayers….that would suffice to fulfill the preferred Sunnah and make the ‘witr’ the last prayer of the night.

It is reported that Hadrat Ali (r.a.) said: "The witr prayer is not required like your obligatory prayers, but the Prophet (saws) would perform the witr prayer and say: 'O you people [followers] of the Qur'an, perform the witr prayer,  for Allah is One and He loves the witr.'"

Your Question: ….what is  the compensation if one breakes fast out of a sin or intentionally comits an act of sin that nulifies or makes the fast makruah

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 185:

185    Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an as a guide to mankind also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong).  So everyone of you who is present (or witnesses) the month should spend it in fasting but if anyone is ill or on a journey the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later.  Allah intends every facility for you He does not want to put you to difficulties.  (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

If one made intention and observed the obligatory fast, then for some reason (travel, health, weakness, etc.) was compelled or had to break one’s fast…..one should make up that fast at a later date; and that would suffice as an atonement for the broken fast.

Your Question: …..many scholars say that u must feed 60 poor as kafara of one single fast.

If one who is observing an obligatory fast and, Allah forbid, has sexually intercourse during the hours of fasting…one would be in a clear violation of one of the prohibitions of Allah Subhanah and guilty of a heinous sin in the Sight of the Lord.

One should immediately turn unto one’s Lord Most Gracious in taubah and seek sincere repentance, and manifest one’s repentance by offering one of the following atonements for one’s abomination of having sexual intercourse during the hours of fasting:

  1. Free a slave, or,
  2. Observe fast for two consecutive months, or,
  3. Feed sixty people from amongst the poor and indigent.

Abu Hurairah reported that a man came to the Messenger of Allah (saws) and said: "I am destroyed, O Messenger of Allah (saws)!" The Prophet (saws) asked: "What has destroyed you?"  He said, "I had intercourse with my wife during a day of Ramadan."  The Prophet (saws) asked: "Are you able to free a slave?"  He said, "No". The Prophet (saws) asked: "Is it possible for you to fast for two consecutive months?" He said, "No." The Prophet (saws) asked: "Is it possible for you to feed sixty poor people?" He said, "No."  The Prophet (saws) said: "Then sit."  A basket of dates was brought to the Prophet (saws) and he said to the man: ‘Give this in charity.’ The man said: "To someone poorer than us? There is no one in this city who is poorer than us!"  The Prophet (saws) laughed until his molar teeth could be seen and said: "Go and feed your family with it!"
