Help adulterous woman and her baby.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
Salam aleykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatahu
I would like to know whether it is
haram ( prohibited ) to help to lady who delivered a baby in zina? The lady got
pregnant from local emirati married man & was hoping he would help her with
money but unfortunately he is escaping her , doesn't answer her phone calls,
& this lady has no one to help her , she has no even money to feed baby to
buy pampers. So i heart about it & feel really pity on this baby & i
want to help her baby monthly at least for food money.

Answer:
Help adulterous
woman and her baby
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
As grave as the sin of ‘zina’ (fornication or adultery)
may be in the Sight of Allah Subhanah, there is nothing in Shariah Law which discourages
or prohibits the believers from helping or supporting the woman/or and her
baby. If one does so only for the Sake
of their Lord, one can be assured of a great reward in His Majestic Presence on
that Inevitable Day of Judgment.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
