Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.

One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
If
someone has stolen money from u and he has agreed to that he has stolen Now he
is asking for some time to pay the amount stolen
(There may be some grammatical and spelling
errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from

Answer:
Stolen money repay
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness
that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
If someone has stolen some money from another, and is
caught and convicted for his crime, the thief would obviously be tried for his
transgression to the full extent of the Law.
But if someone has stolen some money from another, and as
a manifestation of his sincere repentance, the thief himself comes to his
victim and confesses that he had stolen some money and asks for forgiveness
and/or some time to repay the stolen amount, it would only be piety and
righteousness on the part of the victim that he accede to the request of
repentant person and allow him some time to repay the stolen amount.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
