Answer:
Looking mirror
prohibited
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Your
Question: I heard a hadith(I dont know the narrator or source), which says that
one should not look at mirror after evening and in the night. If one does so,
he will loose his good look and will look ugly...Is this true??
To the best of our knowledge, there is absolutely no such
hadith in the records of the authentic and established Sunnah of the Messenger
of Allah (saws). There is absolutely no
restriction in Shariah regarding when one may or may not look at a mirror, nor
does looking in a mirror at anytime or anyplace result in losing one’s good
looks! These notions are no more than absolute falsehoods and mere
self-invented superstitions which have absolutely no relation to the truth or
reality.
Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 4.126
Ali ibn Abi Taalib (r.a.) reported that when
the Prophet (saws) looked into a mirror he (saws) would say, "Praise and
thanks be to Allah. O Allah, make me good mannered as You made me good
looking." Anas ibn Malik (r.a.) reported that whenever the Prophet (saws)
looked at his face in the mirror, he (saws) would say, "Praise be to Allah
Who fashioned my nature and gave it a perfect form, and Who honored my face and
made it good, and made me one of the Muslims."
Your
Question: And is it true that if one looses his hairs from head, that reciting
some particular verses of Quran some specific times will cure it??What is the
remedy for this problem?
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verse 185:
Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent
down: this Book is a Perfect Guidance for mankind and consists of clear
Teachings which show the
The Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme revealed the Glorious
Quran as a perfect book of guidance for mankind; a Book which consists of clear
teachings which show one the Straight Path that leads to the Mercy and
Forgiveness of their Lord Creator; a Book which is the clear criterion between
what is the Truth and what is falsehood.
The Lord Most High did not reveal the Glorious Quran to
remove or address the physical ailments of mankind, but rather it was revealed
to address the spiritual ailments and diseases like ‘shirk’ (polytheism),
‘kufr’ (disbelief), hypocrisy, etc. For
one to believe, Allah forbid practice, that the recitation of the Glorious
Quran would help grow their lost hair would be to make a complete mockery of
the Glorious Revelations of Allah Subhanah!
Your
Question: What is the remedy for this problem?
If one has a physical ailment or disease, prudence and
intelligence would dictate that one consult and seek the advice and treatment
from a doctor, or an expert in that particular field of medicine and science.
Your
Question: Next thing is that can a man marry his mother's brother's daughter or
father's sister's daughter??
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah
Nisaa verse 23:
23 Prohibited to you (for marriage) are: your mother, daughters,
sisters, father's sisters, mother's sisters, brother's daughters, sister's
daughters, foster-mothers (who gave you suck), foster-sisters, your wives'
mothers, your step-daughters under your guardianship born of your wives to whom
ye have gone in, no prohibition if ye have not gone in; (those who have been)
wives of your sons proceeding from your loins, and two sisters in wedlock at
one and the same time except for what is past; for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most
Merciful.
Dear and Beloved sister in Islam, cousins (regardless of
they are maternal or paternal, first or second or third cousins, etc.) ….
‘cousins’ are not ‘mehrams’ or amongst those relations whom the All-Knowing,
All-Wise Lord has forbidden to be sought in marriage; thus marrying one’s
cousins is absolutely lawful and
permissible in Shariah Law, if indeed one wishes to do so.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
