Answer:
Shrines and qurbani
in Quran
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Respected sister in Islam, we have read the Glorious Quran
several times, but we absolutely assure you that we have not come across any
verse or guidance in the Glorious Quran whereby it is deemed permissible for
the believers to visit ‘dargahs’ or shrines or tombs….or for the believers to offer
their worship of ‘qurbani’ (sacrifice) in the name of any other than Allah
Subhanah!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah
Hajj verse 34:
34 To every people did We appoint rites (of sacrifice) that they
might celebrate the Name of Allah (Alone) over the sustenance He gave them from
animals; but your Allah is one Allah: submit then your wills to Him (in
Islam) and give thou the good news to those who humble themselves.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah
Hajj verse 36:
36 The sacrificial camels we have made for you as among the Symbols
from Allah: in them is (much) good for you: then pronounce the name of
Allah (Alone) over them as they line up (for sacrifice): when they are
down on their sides (after slaughter) eat ye thereof and feed such as (beg not
but) live in contentment and such as beg with due humility: thus have we made
animals subject to you that ye may be grateful.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 22 Surah
Hajj verses 27-28:
27 And proclaim the Pilgrimage among men: they will come to thee on
foot and (mounted) on every kind of camel lean on account of journeys through
deep and distant mountain highways;
28 That they may witness the benefits (provided) for them and celebrate
the Name of Allah (Alone) through the Days appointed over the cattle which He
has provided for them (for sacrifice): then eat ye thereof and feed the
distressed ones in want.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah
Maidah verse 3:
3 Forbidden to you (for food) are: dead meat blood, the flesh of swine,
and that on which hath been invoked the ame of other than Allah.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah
Maidah verse 4:
4 They ask thee what is lawful to them (as food): say: lawful unto you
are (all) things good and pure: and what ye have taught your trained hunting
animals (to catch) in the manner directed to you by Allah; eat what they
catch for you but pronounce the Name of Allah over it: and fear Allah;
for Allah is swift in taking account.
Respected sister, if you could kindly provide us with the
exact Verses of the Glorious Quran which you believe allows or makes
permissible for the believers to visit ‘dargahs’, or sacrifice in the name of
any other than Allah Subhanah Alone….we would try to give you our
clarifications in light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, Insha
Allah.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
