Dear Brothers and Sisters in Islam

JazakAllah Khairun.I wish to add one more of my findings with regard to this question.

Allah (swt) has directly answered this question in Quran:

"We gave Musa(Moses) the book and made it a guide for the children of Israel saying"Do not take any other protector beside me.You are the descendents of whom we carried in the Ark with Nuh(Noah) and he was indeed a grateful devotee----" (Bani Israel- 17:(2-10))

Hence early Jews were the descendents of those who came in the ark of Noah.Allah chose them for their obedience.

If I am wrong please correct me.

Answer:

 

Jews descendants of Noah

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 17 Surah Bani Israel verses 2-3:

2        We gave Moses the Book (Taurah), and made it a Guide to the children of Israel (commanding): "Take not other than Me as Disposer of (your) affairs."

3        O ye that are sprung from those whom We carried (in the Ark) with Noah!  Verily, he was a devotee most grateful.

 

Your Question: Hence early Jews were the descendents of those who came in the ark of Noah.Allah chose them for their obedience.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 72 Surah Nuh verses 21-26:

21      Noah said: "O my Lord! They (my people) have disobeyed me but they follow (men) whose wealth and children give them no Increase but only loss.

22      And they have devised a tremendous plot.

23      And they have said (to each other) abandon not your gods; abandon neither ‘Wadd’ nor ‘Suwa’ neither ‘Yaguth’ nor ‘Yauq’ nor ‘Nasr’

24      They have already misled many; and grant Thou no increase to the wrongdoers but in straying (from their mark)."

25      Because of their sins they were drowned (in the flood) and were made to enter the Fire (of Punishment): and they found in lieu of Allah  none to help them.

26     And Noah said: "O my Lord! Leave not of the disbelievers (even) a single one on earth!

27     For if Thou dost leave (any of) them they will but mislead Thy devotees. and they will breed none but wicked ungrateful ones.”

 

In light of the guidance of the Glorious Quran, the Muslim scholars and historians are absolutely unanimous in their opinion that during the deluge that overtook and absolutely annihilated the region where Prophet Noah (a.s.) was sent as a warner, there were no survivors on this earth except those believers who were blessed and chosen by Allah to board the Ark with Prophet Noah (a.s.).

 

It is also indeed absolutely true that all of mankind alive today are the descendants of those whom Allah Subhanah saved in the Ark with Prophet Noah (a.s.); for the deluge that overtook the region of Prophet Noah (a.s.) left absolutely no survivors on this earth except those in the Ark.

 

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
