Answer:
Pregnant and eclipse
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.151 Narrated by Abu
Masud
Allah`s Messenger (peace be upon him) said,
"The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death of someone from
the people, but they are two Signs amongst the Signs of Allah. When you see
them stand up and pray."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.170 Narrated by Abu Bakra
In the lifetime of the Allah's Messenger
(saws) the sun eclipsed and he (saws) went out and reached the Masjid. The
people gathered around him and he led them and offered a two Rakah prayer. When
the sun (eclipse) cleared, he (saws) said, "The sun and the moon are two
Signs amongst the Signs of Allah; they do not eclipse because of the death of
someone, and so when an eclipse occurs, pray and invoke Allah till the eclipse
is over." (It so happened that Ibraheem, the son of the Prophet Mohamed
(saws) had died on that day and the people were talking about that (assuming
that the eclipse was caused by his death).
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 2.158 Narrated by Abu Bakra
Allah's Messenger (saws) said: "The sun
and the moon are two Signs amongst the Signs of Allah, and they do not eclipse
because of the death of someone; but Allah frightens His devotees with
it."
Every believer who sincerely fears Allah and the Last Day,
regardless of man or woman, pregnant female or otherwise….when they experience
or witness a time of eclipse should immediately bring their Lord to
remembrance, fear Him, and stand up and hasten to offer the two rakah Sunnah
prayer of ‘Kasuf’ or eclipse prayer until the eclipse is over.
Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 2.34a
Topic: ‘Salatul Kasuf’ or prayer of the solar
and lunar eclipse
The scholars agree that the prayer of the
eclipses is a ‘Sunnah Mu'akkadah’ or an extremely preferred Sunnah of the
Messenger of Allah (saws), which is to be performed by both men and women. It
is best to pray it in congregation although the congregation is not a condition
for it.
The majority of the scholars hold that the
‘Salatul Kasuf” is to consist of two rakah and that in every rakah one is to
perform two bowings (ruku') instead of the customary one.
Aishah (r.a.) narrates: "There was a
solar eclipse during the time of the Prophet (saws) and the Prophet (saws) went
to the Masjid, and he (saws) stood and made the takbir, and assembled the
people in rows behind him, and he made a lengthy recital after the recitation
of ‘Surah Al-Fatihah’ during the salah. Next, he (saws) made the takbir and
made a long ruku, but it was not as long as the recital. Following that, he
(saws) raised his head, saying: 'Allah hears him who praises Him. And to You,
our Lord, belongs the praise.' Afterward, he (saws) stood and made another long
recital but it was shorter than the first one. Again, he (saws) made the takbir
and made a ruku that was shorter than the first one. Then, again he (saws)
said: 'Allah hears him who praises Him. And to You, our Lord, belongs the
praise.' After this, he (saws) prostrated. He (saws) did the same in the next
rakah and finished four ruku and four sujjud. The sun appeared again before he
(saws) finished. Finally, he (saws) stood and addressed the people and praised
Allah as He deserves and said: 'The sun and the moon are two signs from among
Allah's Signs, and there is no eclipse due to someone's death or life. If you
see them (the eclipse) occurring, hasten to pray, and invoke Allah until it
(the eclipse) is over.'"

Your Statement: …..it

To the best of our
knowledge there is absolutely no obligation or requirement in Shariah upon the
pregnant woman to act any differently from the other believers during the times
of eclipse, nor is there any guidance in the Sunnah which recommends or
commands her to sleep straight, keep her hand fingers straight, or forbids her
to move, etc……but the guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saws) unto the
believers is that whenever they witness an
eclipse they should immediately bring their Lord to remembrance, fear
Him, and hasten to offer the eclipse prayer of ‘Kasuf’ until the eclipse is
over.
