Assalam`o`Alaikum brother,
My question is reagrding name `meekaeel` ya `mikail`.Is it ok for a boy, what should be the right spelling ?

Name angel

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

‘Mikaeel’ is the name of one of the strongest Angels of Allah Subhanah; and the Angels are no more than obedient slaves of the Lord Most Gracious.  There is absolutely no harm or restriction in Islam if one names their male children after the name of one of the noble Angels of the Lord Most Merciful, if one wishes to do so.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
