Dear Islamic Brother`s,

Ass Salam o Alaikum Hope you are all feeling very well today dear brothers I want to know about Hajj now I m living in Jeddah before 5 Months I m from Pakistan this is my 1st Hajj I want to do Hajj-e-Tamattu but someone told me you don`t do this you are staying in Jeddah you will do only Hajj-e-Afraad so plz tell me about this case what will I do what is the best way to do for me and one more question I will do sacrifice inshallah I want to know about under arms hairs for remove what is the last date to do for this job done plz tell me ok

Answer:

 

Jeddah type of hajj

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

There is allowance in the Shariah for a pilgrim to perform any one of the three types of Hajj:

1. Hajj-e-Ifraad: ie. where a pilgrim performs only the Hajj without the Umrah pilgrimage.
2. Hajj-e-Qiran: ie. where the pilgrim performs both the Umrah and the Hajj pilgrimage in one state of ‘ehraam’.
3. Hajj-e-Tamattu: ie. where the pilgrim enters in the state of ‘ehram’ from the ‘Meeqat’ and performs the Umrah first, then comes out of the state of ‘ehram’, and before the days of Hajj enters into the state of ‘ehram’ for a second time to perform the Hajj pilgrimage.

Although a pilgrim is at absolute liberty in Shariah to choose to perform any one of the above three types of Hajj, the absolute majority of the scholars and jurists in Islam are of the opinion that it would be best and preferred that those living in the vicinity of Makkah performed the ‘Hajj-e-Ifraad’ (Hajj alone without Umrah), and perform the Umrah at other times of the year so that the House of Allah Subhanah is visited throughout the year.

 

But if one residing in the vicinity of Makkah chooses or wishes to perform the ‘Hajj-tamattu’ or ‘Hajj-qiraan’ for any reason, there is absolutely no harm.

 

Your Question: I want to know about under arms hairs for remove what is the last date to do for this job

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 7.779         Narrated by Abu Huraira

I heard the Prophet (saws) saying. "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra (nature): removing the pubic hair, clipping the nails, depilating the hair of the armpits; and circumcision and cutting the moustaches short (for the males)

 

Hadrat Anas ibn Maalik (r.a.) said, "The time period for us to trim the moustache, cut the nails, pluck out the underarm hairs and cut the pubic hairs was forty nights." Related by Ahmad and Abu Dawud.

 

Sahih Muslim Hadith 4869     Narrated by Umm Salamah

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: ‘When any one of you intending to sacrifice the animal enters in the month (of Dhul-Hijjah), he should not get his hair or nails touched (cut).’

 

One should remove their unwanted hair from their pubic region and from under their armpits at least once every forty days; and the absolute last date to remove their unwanted hair for one who intends to perform the Hajj pilgrimage or to offer a sacrifice is before the 1^st of Dhul-Hijjah.
