Answer:
Hajj e badal for
father alive
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Hadrat Abdullah ibn Abbas (r.a.) said: "A woman of (the tribe of) Khatham came
to the Messenger of Allah (saws) and said, 'O Prophet of Allah (saws)! Allah
has prescribed Hajj for His servants. (Now that) I am grown up, I find that my
father is an old man, and he cannot ride on the camel (for long). Should I
perform Hajj on his behalf?' The Prophet
(saws) said: 'Yes.'" This happened during the Farewell Hajj.

There is indeed allowance in Shariah for a believing man
or woman to perform the obligatory pilgrimage or Hajj for his/her loved ones,
regardless of whether they are alive or dead; but is preferred and recommended
that the one performing the Hajj for another (Hajj-e-badal) should have
fulfilled their own obligatory duty of Hajj before he/she performs the
‘Hajj-e-badal’ for their loved one.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
