Answer:
Superstition month
of safar
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Every single moment, every hour, every day, every week,
every month, and every year belongs to Allah Subhanah Alone….and if one is
blessed to be alive, one should be grateful to their Lord for bestowing and
allowing the time to do deeds which would bring them closer to His Mercy and
His Forgiveness.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 21 Surah
Anbiyaa verse 35:
35 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and
by good (only) by way of trial: to Us must ye return.
Dear and beloved Sister in Islam, trials, afflictions,
etc. are not at all determined by time, or by the sun or the moon, or by the
movement of the celestial bodies, or by the advent of any day or week or
month…..trials and afflictions are dependent entirely upon the Will and Decree
of the Lord Most High, and it is the All-Knowing All-Wise Lord who tries His
slaves through good and through evil, to see who amongst them is the best in
deeds.
Allah says in the Holy Quran in Chapter 67 Surah
Al Mulk verse 2:
He (Allah) created death and life that He may
test you, to see which of you is the
best in deeds.
Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 4.1
Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet (saws)
said: "When Allah wants to be good to someone, He tries him with some
hardship."
Abu Hurairah reports that Allah's Messenger
(saws) said: "For every misfortune, illness, anxiety, grief, or hurt that
afflicts a Muslim -even the hurt caused by the pricking of a thorn - Allah
removes some of his sins."
Suhaib ibn Sinan narrated that the Prophet
(saws) said: "How remarkable is the case of the believer! There is good
for him in everything, but this is not the case for anyone except for the
believer. When the believer receives any good, he is thankful to Allah, and
gets a reward. And when some misfortune befalls him, he endures it patiently,
for which he is (also) rewarded."
If one assumes or believes that one has received (or will
receive) some good or some misfortunate or affliction has befallen (or will
befall) them due to the advent of a particular day or month or year, or because
of the movements of the sun or the moon or the heavenly bodies, or because of
anyone or anything other than the Will and Decree of Allah Subhanah….then
without an iota of a doubt, one would be guilty of the heinous abomination of
‘shirk’ in the Sight of Allah Subhanah!
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 1.807 Narrated by Zaid bin Khalid Al Juhani
The Prophet (saws) led us in the Fajr prayer
at Hudaibiya after a rainy night. On completion of the prayer, he (saws) faced
the people and said, "Do you know what your Lord has Said
(Revealed)?" The people replied, "Allah and His Messenger (saws) know
best." He (saws) said, "Allah
has said, 'In this morning some of my slaves remained as true believers and
some became non-believers; whoever said that the rain was due to the Blessings
and the Mercy of Allah had belief in Me and they disbelieved in the stars, and
whoever said that it rained because of a particular star had no belief in Me
but believes in that star.' "
Every good and every affliction that befalls one happens with
the Precise Will and Decree of the Lord Most High Alone. Allah is our witness
sister, there is absolutely no evidence in the Quran or the Sunnah to believe
or assume that the month of ‘Safar’ or any other day, or week, or month, or
year (or anyone or anything in creation) can bring about more afflictions and
trials on one than any other day, or week, or month or year! If one were to believe in such a baseless lie
and superstition, without an iota of a doubt, they would be guilty of the
unforgivable and heinous crime of ‘shirk’ in the Sight of the Lord Most
Majestic!
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and
commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any other
guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be assured
of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.

well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
