Answer:

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah
Nisaa verse 34:
34 Men are the protectors and maintainers of women because Allah has given the one more than the other, and because
they (the men) support them (their women) from their means.
The absolute complete financial responsibility of the
maintenance and upkeep of the women has been laid upon the shoulders of the men
in Islam.
From birth until her marriage, it is the duty and the
responsibility of her father to bear the expenses of his daughter; after her
marriage until the death of her husband, it is the duty and the responsibility
of the husband in Islam to bear the complete financial expenses of his wife;
and after the death of her husband, it is the duty of her sons to bear the
complete expenses of their mother. Thus
from her cradle to her grave, it is the duty of the men in her lives to provide
for her complete financial upkeep.

After marriage, the complete financial responsibility for
the upkeep of the wife is the duty of her husband….and it is the husband’s duty
in Islam to bear the complete expenses of his wife….whether it be the marriage
itself, her housing, her clothing, her food, her medications, her child-births,
her burial, etc….all the expenses of the upkeep of the woman after her marriage
is the duty and the responsibility of her husband.
The mother of the woman is not at all obliged or bound to
spend anything on her daughter after her marriage or during her child-birth,
but if she, of her own free will and choice, and without any force, or
coercion, or hints whatsoever wishes to spend on her daughter, there is
absolutely no harm.
