Seek intercession of moulvi.

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
(May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked
this question:
My Question is about
the shirk and Duwaa. Alhamdullah i belief in Allah and offers 5 time prayers
and also believe that what Allah do is for our betterness. Now we have a
Moulana from whom i said for Duwaa and mostly when i was in Tention regarding
job or my life i ask him to pray for me and for my family and when he do pray
all the works will goes fine. He said your close relative or my wife relatives
dont want to see your life happy. For this Duwaa he ask for some
"hadiya" which i gave to him. So is it comes in a shirk or what we
call it? because my only purpose is to solve the problem and thanks for Allah
for helping me and Make Moula as Vasila. I strongly beleive in Allah and know
that nothing is happen except the will of Allah.
Please clarify it so that i will be on righ path.

Answer:
Seek intercession of
moulvi
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His
help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide,
and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear
witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear
witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His
Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Baqarah verses 155-157:
155 Be sure We shall test you with something of fear, and hunger, some
loss in goods, or lives, or the fruits (of your toil); but give glad tidings to
those who patiently persevere.
156 Who say when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah we belong and
to Him is our return."
157 They are those on whom (descend) blessings from Allah and Mercy, and
they are the ones that receive guidance.
Fiqh-us-Sunnah Fiqh 4.1
Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet (saws)
said: "When Allah wants to be good to someone, He tries him with some
hardship."
Abu Hurairah reports that Allah's Messenger
(saws) said: "For every misfortune, illness, anxiety, grief, or hurt that
afflicts a Muslim -even the hurt caused by the pricking of a thorn - Allah
removes some of his sins."
Dear and beloved brother, when one is afflicted by any
type of trial or affliction, one should know with total and absolute conviction
that the affliction is no more than a test from their Lord, and none save the
Lord has the Power and the Ability to remove that affliction from them.
One who is afflicted by any trial can and should make as
many supplications as they please unto their Lord Most Merciful to have mercy
on them, bestow patience upon them, make their trial easy for them, and make
the trial a means for their rewards.
Your
Statement: Now we have a Moulana from whom i said for Duwaa and mostly when i
was in Tention regarding job or my life i ask him to pray for me and for my
family and when he do pray all the works will goes fine.
There is also absolutely no harm in Shariah if one asks or
requests one amongst their believing loved ones to make supplications to the
Lord for them; but to believe that one’s trial and affliction can only be
removed if a particular person or ‘holy man’ is approached, or that the
supposed ‘holy man’ was the reason their affliction was moved away from them, or
to do any rite or ritual prescribed by the supposed ‘holy man’ when that rite
or ritual is not endorsed by the Quran and the Sunnah, etc….then without an
iota of a doubt, all such acts and beliefs would constitute the manifestation
of the abomination of ‘shirk’ in the Sight of Allah Subhanah.
None save Allah Subhanah has the Power to afflict someone
with a trial; and none save Him Alone has the Power to remove that affliction.
Your
Question: He said your close relative or my wife relatives dont want to see
your life happy.
Unless the supposed ‘holy man’ has received (Allah forbid)
a Revelation from the Lord, or unless the supposed ‘holy man’ was visited by
Hadrat Jibrael (a.s.) and informed about it, or unless the supposed ‘holy man’
claims he possesses the ‘knowledge of the unseen’……(all of which are absolutely
impossible!!!)…..how on earth can this person claim to know that the reason for
your afflictions is because one amongst your close relatives or your own in-laws
are responsible for the trials that befell you from your Lord!
Beloved brother, know and believe with total and absolute
conviction that no harm and no good can approach you from any quarter
whatsoever without the precise Will and Permission of Allah Subhanah…..and if
Allah Wills to bestow His Mercy and Favor upon you, all of mankind and all the
jinns can strive altogether but they will not be able to prevent that Favor of
the Lord from reaching you! And if Allah
Subhanah wishes and pleases to test you and afflict you with a trial, Allah is
our witness brother, all of mankind and all the jinns together cannot remove
that trial from you! Everything,
absolutely everything that happens in the Universe is in the Hands and Domain
of none save the One Lord and Creator, Most Majestic, Most Supreme.
Allah Says in His Holy Quran Chapter 35 Surah
Fatir verse 2:
2 What Allah out of His Mercy doth bestow on mankind there is none can
withhold: what He doth withhold there is none can grant apart from Him: and He
is the Exalted in Power Full of Wisdom.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 160:
If Allah helps you none can overcome you: if He
forsakes you who is there after that that can help you? In Allah then let believers put their trust.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 6 Surah
Anaam verse 17:
17 "If Allah touch thee with affliction none can remove it but He;
if He touch thee with happiness He hath power over all things.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verse 3:
And put your trust in Allah Alone; and enough is Allah as a Disposer of affairs.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah verse 51:
Say: "Nothing
will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our Protector"; and on Allah let the believers put their
trust.
Your
Question: ….For this Duwaa he ask for some "hadiya" which i gave to
him. So is it comes in a shirk or what we call it?
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 9 Surah Taubah
verses 34-35 :
O you who believe! There are indeed many among the priests and
the holy men who devour the wealth of others by evil means, and debar the people from the Way of Allah. Give them the good news of a painful
torment, who hoard up gold and silver
and do not expend these in the Way of Allah.
The Day shall surely come when the same gold and silver shall be heated
in the fire of Hell, and with it will be
branded their foreheads, their bodies
and their backs. (And it will be said):
“Here is that treasure you had hoarded up for yourselves! Taste now the evil of your hoarded treasure!”
First and foremost brother, if any supposed priest or holy
man asks for a material or personal reward for their services…..immediately
drop that person and his services like a ‘bad-habit’ and know with absolute
conviction that the person, although dressed in the look and garb of ‘Islam’ is
no more than a petty conman and crook who makes his living by inventing,
creating, and instilling the fear of the ‘unseen’ elements like ‘jinns’,
‘magic’, evil-spirits, etc. in the hearts of his unsuspecting victims! Allah is our witness brother, such
unscrupulous priests and supposed ‘holy men’ may choose to look, portray, and
adorn themselves in the garb of ‘Islam’, but they barter away guidance for a
few paltry coins…..and because they sought the Blessed Name of Allah and Islam
to con and cheat people, they will be amongst the worst people in the Sight of
the Lord on the Day of Judgment! Neither
will the Lord even glance His Look of Mercy towards such enemies of the Truth,
nor will He even speak to them, nor will He purify them, but they will be given
a painful and humiliating torment for their malpractice in the Name of Allah
and Islam.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah
Al-Baqarah verse 174:
Indeed those,
who conceal the commands that Allah has sent down in His Book and barter
them away for paltry worldly gains, fill
their bellies with fire. Allah will not
speak to them on the Day of Resurrection,
nor will He regard them as pure and there is a painful torment for them!
Your
Question (Again): ….For this Duwaa he ask for some "hadiya" which i
gave to him. So is it comes in a shirk or what we call it?
If one were to believe that their trials and afflictions
can only be removed if they obeyed or paid the ‘hadiya’ to the supposed priest
or holy man….indeed that belief would constitute a manifestation of ‘shirk’ in
the Sight of Allah Subhanah.
If one were to believe that their trials and afflictions
were caused because of the ‘unseen’ reasons given by that supposed priest and
holy men….. indeed that belief would constitute a manifestation of ‘shirk’ in
the Sight of Allah Subhanah.
If one were to do any act, or deed, or rite or ritual
prescribed by such supposed unscrupulous priests and holy men in their efforts
to remove their trial from them, especially when that act, or deed, or rite or
ritual has not been endorsed in the Quran or the Sunnah….without an iota of a
doubt….such deeds would constitute a manifestation of ‘shirk’ in the Sight of
Allah Subhanah.
Allah says in the Quran: Chapter 4 Surah An-Nisa Verse 48
Shirk (associating other deities with Allah) is the only sin that Allah does
not forgive, and He forgives, whomsoever He pleases, sins other than this, for
whosoever associates any other partner with Allah, does indeed forge a big lie
and commits the most heinous sin.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah
Maidah verse 72:
Whoever commits ‘shirk’ (invoking anything with
Allah), Allah shall forbid for him
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
