Answer:
Leader authority
misguide
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Allah Says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verse 59:
O
you who believe, obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those entrusted
with authority amongst you. Then
if there arises any dispute about anything, refer the dispute to Allah and the
Messenger, if you truly believe in Allah and the Last Day. That would be the best way and most suitable
for final determination.
Dear and beloved brother, Allah Subhanah Commands and
Guides the believers to obey Allah and His Messenger (saws) absolutely
unconditionally; and obey ‘those entrusted with
authority amongst you’ (one’s parents, guardians, leaders, etc.) on the
condition that their Command is in accordance with the guidance of Allah and
His Messenger (saws).
If perchance a command given by ‘those
entrusted with authority’ (absolutely regardless of whether it be one’s
parents, guardians, leaders, rulers, kings, etc.) is against the Commands and
Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws), the believers are not to follow or
obey that particular command of their parents/leaders.
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith 3696 Narrated by An-Nawwas ibn Sam'an
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "A
creature is not to be obeyed when it involves disobedience to the
Creator."
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 31 Surah
Luqmaan verses 14-15:
14 And We have enjoined on man (to be good) to his parents: in travail
upon travail did his mother bear him and in years twain was his weaning: (hear
the Command:) "Show gratitude to Me and to thy parents: to Me is (thy
final) Goal.”
15 "But if they (parents) strive to make thee join in
worship with Me things of which thou hast no knowledge, obey them not (in that
unlawful command of theirs); yet bear them company in this life with justice
(and consideration) and follow the way of those who turn to Me (in
love): in the End the return of you all is to Me and I will tell you the truth
(and meaning) of all that ye did."
Thus in conclusion brother, one is Commanded by the Lord
to obey and follow ‘those entrusted with authority’
(parents, guardians, leaders, rulers, etc) in every lawful command that they
may give; and refrain from obeying them when a command given by them is against
the Commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws).
If Allah forbid, one blindly follows and obeys every
command of ‘those entrusted with authority’, even
if it is against the Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws)…then such a
person will indeed be held severely accountable by Allah for the transgression
that transpires through his hands.
If one trusts, obeys, and follows the guidance and
commands of Allah and His Messenger (saws),
one can be assured of never ever being misled; but if one believes, obeys and follows any
other guidance, other than that of Allah and His Messenger (saws), one can be
assured of being led astray.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only
due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me
alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is
the Only Source of Strength.
Your brother and
well wisher in Islam,
Burhan
