Is it forbidden to have sex with wife 10 days before Eid Azha.

Answer:

 

Sex during dhul hijjah hajj

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

Indeed one amongst the restrictions of a believer who is in the state of ‘ehraam’ for pilgrimage (Umrah or Hajj) to the Sacred House is that they must abstain from sexual intercourse; but for one who is not in the state of ‘ehraam’, there is absolutely no restriction upon them in Shariah if they wish to enjoying conjugal relations with their wives during the first 10 days of the month of Dhul-Hijjah.

 

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
