Answer:

What to do with human organs removed

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is none worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

If for any reason one has one’s body organ removed, it would be best that it not be disposed off like one disposes other waste so that animals may scavenge or eat of it, or it may be visible to other human beings, or it may become a cause of hygiene to fellow man, etc.  It would be best and indeed akin to piety that a body organ which for some reason is removed be disposed off as honorably as one would dispose the bodies of their deceased loved ones; that is, by burying it.

In most cases the hospitals themselves dispose the removed organs in a manner which would not cause harm or be a hygiene concern for others; but in case the hospital for any reason hands the organs back, it would be best if one disposes it honorably by burying it.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
