Answer:
Can one ask questions in Islam?
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
Your question: is it
wrong question something what`s told in islam, i mean though i believe in
something i`ve doubts about that thing, then cant i question about
it,which is considered against religion.
If one asks a question to learn
and/or understand the deen, or one asks a question so that he may
understand the ‘hikmah’ or wisdom behind any command
of the deen so that he may follow it with more
conviction; there is absolutely no
harm; in fact, such questions where one may learn and
understand the deen of Islam are encouraged. When one wants to learn or understand the deen,
he is encouraged to ask any number of question on any belief or
command of Islam.
But if one is a muslim, and is
fundamentally against the guidance and teachings of Allah and His Messenger
(saws), and has absolutely no intention
to accept, follow or obey their
commandments, but simply asks questions
to challenge the commands and prove them wrong and non-beneficial; such type of questions are discouraged in
Islam.
The above guidance is only for
the believers. If one is a non-believer, he is allowed to
ask any question he wants on Islam; and
the believers and scholars must strive to satisfy his queries in the most
polite and best manner, to enable his
heart to soften to the Truth of Al-Islam.
Also i`ll like to ask u abt one such thing.suppose a nonbeliever tells me he firmly believe in
one God,but why is it imp that he believes in the
prophet(saws),as prophets were send to believe that there`s
one God.
Simply believing that there is
only One God, would
not be enough to qualify one as a believer in the sight of Allah Subhanah. They must
believe that He Alone is the Creator of everything in existence; He Alone is the
All-Powerful, Omnipotent, All-Mighty,
All-Merciful, Most Forgiving, and
all His other attributes. And since He
is such a Mighty Lord and Creator, then they must accept that He Alone
has the right to be worshipped,
obeyed, and followed; and He Alone has the right to declare what
system of life is acceptable to Him.
For this very purpose of declaring
His approved system of life,
Allah Subhanah sent His
Messengers, and revealed His Divine
Revelations. The Messengers of Allah
were not sent to only declare to mankind that there is One God; they were sent to
invite people to that approved system of life ordained by Allah Subhanah, to give
good news to the people who accepted that system of life, and to give a warning to those people who
denied it!
Therefore, if one believes in One God, but denies Allah’s Prophets and His
Revelations, he obviously cannot follow
the system of life approved by Allah,
and thus will not be accepted as a believer by Allah Subhanah.
Just as a person believes in the
King of a place, but refuses to accept
and obey the King’s appointed governors,
refuses to accept and abide by the laws of the kingdom, and does whatever he feels, will not be accepted as a good citizen of the
state; the person who denies to accept
and obey the Prophets of Allah, and
refuses to accept and abide by the laws of Allah, and denies the approved system of life
ordained by Allah, will not be accepted
as a believer by Allah Subhanah. The person who believes in the existence of
God, but denies
His Prophets and His Revelations will be recognized as a dis-believer
in the sight of Allah Subhanah.
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
