Answer:

Why did you keep the name Burhan?

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Dear and Beloved Brother, may Allah Subhanah bless you and reward you generously for your honest opinion and suggestion.  Allah is my witness, each and every one of the noble brothers and sisters who help moderate and keep this humble effort and forum running deserve much much more credit than the one whose name appears at the bottom of each article; for honestly, my work is the least significant compared to the effort and hours spent by the rest of the brothers and sisters who help bring this forum to fruitation.  But each and every one of my beloved and anonymous volunteers in this Cause of Allah refuse to receive any recognition, or thanks, or appreciation, or any material reward whatsoever for all their selfless efforts and countless hours that they spend in moderating this humble forum.  Time and again this issue has been discussed amongst ourselves; but each time their answer remains the same: they unanimously say: ‘We started this humble forum to serve the Cause of Allah Subhanah, and we do not wish to diminish our reward in any way in the Presence of our Lord Most Merciful.’

At the very beginning, when our beloved brother who initiated this program and was chosen as the ‘Ameer’ amongst us, appointed (or rather commanded) me to write the articles, the suggestion was not to give any name of anyone associated with this humble forum, that included me (the writer) amongst my anonymous brothers and sisters who work towards this Noble Cause of Allah Subhanah.  But it was his suggestion and decision that we should at least give the name of the writer, so that our brothers and sisters who address the questions on the forum at least have a reference name rather than just the name of the association; and thus, inspite of my sincere reluctance, my name accompanies the answers.

Allah is my witness, I even suggested that we use a ‘pen-name’, but our brother ‘Ameer’ would not even accept that suggestion and I distinctly remember him telling me that it would not behove the humble service we had initiated to propagate the Truth of the Quran and the Sunnah to contain even an iota of a ‘lie’!.   Thus as a concession, he allowed that only the first name of the writer be announced, only to serve as a reference point to our beloved brothers and sisters.

Allah is my witness brother, like my beloved brothers and sisters who help moderate this humble service, I seek no personal recognition, nor thanks, nor any reward from anyone except that our Lord be pleased with us when we ultimately return to Him.  I sincerely hope and pray, and humbly request you to pray, that the Lord accept my weak efforts in His Cause, and not diminish my reward for having included my name on this humble forum.

Allah Subhanah is our witness, if our humble and modest efforts have helped even one brother or sister get closer to Allah and His Deen of Truth, then we would consider ourselves indeed fortunate to have been given this opportunity by the Lord Most Merciful to serve in His Cause.  We hope, beg, and pray the Merciful Lord  accepts our humble and weak efforts, forgives us our shortcomings, and saves you, us, and all the believers from the torment of the Hell Fire.  Ameen.

Your Statement: i m sorry if i make any disrespect to you as i am new to the site

Allah has made you our brother in Islam, and you have a right to ask or clarify anything you wish on this humble forum.  In fact it should be me who owes an apology to you and all the brothers and sisters on the forum for not clarifying this issue earlier.  May Allah Subhanah bless you and reward you generously in this life and the Hereafter for your honest opinion and suggestion.  Ameen.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
