Is she right in doing so. Please help. please do not show my name or email id.

Answer:

Ghusl after sex

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 685      Narrated by Aisha

A person asked the Messenger of Allah (saws) about one who has sexual intercourse with his wife and parts away (without ejaculation) whether ‘ghusl’ is obligatory for them. Aisha was sitting by him. The Messenger of Allah (saws) said: ‘I and she (Hadrat Aisha (r.a.)) do it and then perform a ‘ghusl’.’

Dear and beloved brother in Islam, when a man enters a woman through sexual intercourse, regardless of whether there is release of semen or not, regardless of whether the semen has entered or touched the woman or not….as long as the male organ has touched or entered into the female organ, it is absolutely obligatory for both the man and the woman to perform the full bath of purification (ghusl) before they offer their prayers.

The saying of the wife who has performed sexual intercourse with her husband that she is not impure only because the semen has not touched her is absolutely invalid.  If the male organ has touched or entered into the female organ, regardless of whether the semen has touched the woman or not; it would be absolutely obligatory for both the man and the woman to perform the ‘ghusl’ and purify themselves before making themselves available for prayer.

Being pure from major impurities and performing the wudu is an absolutely obligatory pre-condition of prayer.  The prayer of one who does not purify oneself from major impurities by performing the ghusl is absolutely invalid, null, and void, and such a prayer is not acceptable at all to Allah Subhanah.

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 6:

6        O ye who believe! When ye prepare for prayer wash your faces and your hands (and arms) to the elbows; rub your heads (with water); and (wash) your feet to the ankles.  If ye are in a state of ceremonial impurity (sexual intercourse), bathe your whole body.  But if ye are ill or on a journey, or one of you cometh from offices of nature, or ye have been in contact with women (sexual intercourse), and ye find no water then take for yourselves clean sand or earth and rub therewith your faces and hands.  Allah doth not wish to place you in a difficulty but to make you clean and to complete His favor to you that ye may be grateful.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
