When u quote a Hadith why most of the times the Hadith are from Trimizi. i dont have a problem in that but the thing is Bukhari is considered as the best hadith book as Bukhari picked only qawi hadeeth to write and quote in his book

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

AOA Dear Burhan

I get the mails from ur website sometimes answers are good most of the time answers have no relevance whatsoever with the question at all. Dear brother u might have knowledge more than even me but just a pinching question. When u quote  a Hadith why most of the times the Hadith are from Trimizi. i dont have a problem in that but the thing is Bukhari is considered as the best hadith book as Bukhari picked only qawi hadeeth to write and quote in his book. so why u quote most from Tirmizi, muslim and Maja. Dont u consider Bukhari as important reference, is it your Lack of knowledge or you dont find relevance of issue in that.  please confirm. and plz note its not a critic but a question.

Wa'salam

Answer:

Why no bukhari hadiths quoted in your answers

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

My dear and beloved brother in Islam, we are the first to admit our severe short-comings in our humble and insignificant knowledge and service for the Cause, and as your humble brothers and sisters who have taken on this noble task only for the Sake of Allah Subhanah, we do sincerely and humbly beg for your forgiveness and your understanding of our limitations.

Beloved brother, our intention is always to answer the questions posed on this humble forum in light of the Guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah, but because of our absolutely limited and insignificant knowledge, regardless of our best efforts, without an iota of a doubt, we will always fall short to do justice to this Noble Cause.  We sincerely and humbly beg for your forgiveness and your understanding, and above all we do beseech our Lord Most Gracious in absolute humility and fear that He forgives us our errors and our severe short-comings in the service of His Cause.

Your Question: When u quote  a Hadith why most of the times the Hadith are from Trimizi. i dont have a problem in that but the thing is Bukhari is considered as the best hadith book as Bukhari picked only qawi hadeeth to write and quote in his book. so why u quote most from Tirmizi, muslim and Maja. Dear and beloved brother, we assure you that after the Glorious Book of Allah, the very first place we strive to look for guidance on any issue posed in Islam are the authentic records and collections of the Ahaadeeths of the Messenger of Allah (saws); and without an iota of a doubt, the works and collections of Imam Bukhari (may Allah have Mercy on his soul and be pleased with him) are unanimously considered and accepted to be amongst the best and most authentic.

We assure you that the authentic records of ahaadeeths from the ‘Sahiayn’ (Bukhari and Muslim) are our first priority when quoting any hadeeth from the Messenger of Allah (saws); but it may happen at times that the works of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim may be silent on a particular issue, but may have found more eloquence in text and meaning in the works of the other four respected and accepted collections of authentic ahaadeeths…namely, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Ibn Maajah, and Nisai.

If the answer to an issue is found in the works of Sahih Bukari or Sahih Muslim, we assure you that it is always our first priority to quote from their collections.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your brother and well wisher in Islam,

Burhan
