if someone has a dream of a female who is already married and they see them dressed as a bride in red then what does that mean? people have said that it does not have a good meaning to see a person who is already married to be dressed as a bride in a dream.

Dream of a Bride

 

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

Your Question: what does that mean?

Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 9.144         Narrated by Abu Huraira

Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "When the Day of Resurrection approaches, the dreams of a believer will hardly fail to come true, and a dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of Prophetism, and whatever belongs to Prothetism can never be false."  Muhammad bin Sirin said, 'There are three types of dreams:

1. The reflection of one's thoughts and experiences one has during wakefulness,
2. what is suggested by Satan to frighten the dreamer,
3. or glad tidings from Allah.

So, if someone has a dream which he dislikes, he should not tell it to others, but get up and offer a prayer.' "

 

If one has seen a dream of a married woman dressed as a bride, it is very possible and more than likely that such a dream is no more than a reflection of one’s thoughts which one has during his wakefulness.  One should not worry about it, seek refuge from Allah Subhanah from any and all evil, not disclose his dream to anyone, and calm himself by offering a prayer.

The nature of dreams is such that an individual himself does not have any control on what exactly transpires in his dreams; thus one should not fear what one sees or experiences in one’s dreams, but rather keep his full trust and faith in Allah Subhanah, seek refuge in Him against any and all evil; it is expected that their Lord Most Gracious shall protect them from any harm.
