Answer:
Dress code at home
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai, nobody!) worthy of
worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His
slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Your Question: i would like to ask
you that whether if a person is alone at his home than what is the dress code
advisable for him?
Except for when one is visiting the privy (bathroom, toilets, etc.) or when a
husband and wife are enjoying their conjugal relations in marriage, it does not
behove and befit a believer to expose his ‘aurah’ or ‘satr’, regardless of
whether one is alone or not. The
Messenger of Allah (saws) said that even when one is absolutely alone, the
Angels of Allah surround and protect the human beings by their Lord’s Command,
and it does not behove a believer to expose their ‘aurah’ or private parts to
them.
Thus the
absolute minimum dress-code prescribed for the believers even if they are
absolutely alone in the privacy of their homes is to at-least cover their
‘satr’, which for the men is the body between their navel and their knees
inclusive, and for the women between the beginning of their chest to the end of
their knees inclusive.
Your Question: also if husband
wife are alone at home than what about their clothes?
If the husband and wife are not engaged in physically enjoying their conjugal
relationship with each other, even if they are alone at home, the least they
should always keep covered is their ‘satr’.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me alone.
Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Islam,
