im a 18 yr old gurl,about to be married.as a tradition, the bride has to get her eye browz done,is this permissible?is it ok to use lenses?

than how many ppl are there on earth wid the same personalities?i have heard, 7 ppl on the surface of the earth are alike?
i would like to noe as soon as possible...at least before my weddin wich is a week later..

Answer:

 

Make eyebrows

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,  no grave, no prophet,  no imam,  no dai,  nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Sahih Al-Bukhari  7.815        Narrated by Abdullah

Allah has cursed those women who practice tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their eye-brow hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, and such women as change the features created by Allah.  Why then should I not curse those whom the Prophet (saws) has cursed?

 

In light of the above absolutely clear guidance of the Messenger of Allah (saws),  it is the unanimous opinion of all the scholars and jurists in Islam that the plucking of eyebrows is strictly forbidden for the believing woman in Islam.

 

Beloved sister, regardless if it be a tradition in one’s land, or culture, or family for the bride to get her eye-brows done; but if any tradition contravenes or goes against the Commands and Guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws), then it is the duty of the believers who sincerely love Allah and His Messenger (saws) to forego and sacrifice their pagan traditions and strive to sincerely obey Allah and His Messenger (saws).  The Messenger of Allah (saws) has said that Allah has cursed those women who remove their eye-brow hairs, and the fear of the curse of Allah should be more than enough for any believing woman to forego any tradition which goes against the clear guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws).

 

Your Question: is it ok to use lenses?
There is absolutely no harm if one wishes to use contact-lenses or any device which would help improve their vision; but the scholars have voiced their opinion against the wearing of lenses simply to change the color of one’s eyes as that would be tantamount to changing or altering the perfect nature chosen and created by the Lord Most Supreme.  Their ‘daleel’ or evidence for their opinion stems from the below Commands of the Glorious Quran:

 

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 82 Surah Infitaar verses 6-8:

6        O man!  What has seduced thee from thy Lord, Most Beneficent?

7        Him Who created thee.  Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias;

8        In whatever Form He Wills,  does He put thee together.

 

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 4 Surah Nisaa verses 118-121:

118    Allah did curse him (the Shaitaan) but he said: "I will take of Thy servants a portion marked off.

119    "I will mislead them and I will create in them false desires;  I will order them to slit the ears of cattle,  and to deface the (fair) nature created by Allah."   Whoever forsaking Allah takes Satan for a friend,  hath of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest.

120    Satan makes them promises and creates in them false desires; but Satan's promises are nothing but deception.

121    They (his dupes) will have their dwelling in hell,  and from it they will find no way of escape.

To the best of our knowledge there is nothing either in the Quran or the Sunnah which declares that there are seven (or more or less or any) people on the surface of the earth whose personalities or looks are absolutely alike.

 

This statement that there are seven (or more or less or any) people on the surface of the earth whose personalities or looks are absolutely alike is a myth with absolutely no basis or reality.

 

It is one of the Signs of the Perfect Creator that although the Lord has created billions and billions of human beings similar to each other, He has created each and every human being with a distinct look, voice, personality, etc., each and every one with a distinct and unique individuality! 

 

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 82 Surah Infitaar verses 6-8:
