Answer:
Wudu between Sex
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Ibn 'Umar asked the Prophet (saws), "O
Messenger of Allah, can one of us sleep while he is in post-sex impurity?"
The Prophet (saws) answered, "Yes, if he makes ablution."
Reported 'Aishah, "When the Prophet
(saws) wanted to eat or sleep in a state of post-sex impurity, he (saws) would
wash his private parts and perform ablution." (Related by Bukhari and
Muslim)
Ammar ibn Yasar reported that the Prophet (saws)
permitted a person in post-sex impurity to eat, drink or sleep if he performed
ablution first.
Related by Ahmad and at-Tirmidhi)
Abu Sa'eed reported that the Prophet (saws) said,
"If one has intercourse with his wife and wants to repeat the act, he
should perform ablution. It makes the return more vivacious."
Related by Ibn Khuzaimah, Ibn Hibban and
al-Hakim.
If one were to clean his private parts and perform the
ablution between the interval of two sexual intercouses in the same night, it
would be considered preferable (mustahab) and in accordance with the guidance
and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).
But if one wishes to eat, drink, or sleep or do any other deed after one
has had sexual intercourse, then it would indeed be necessary (wajib) to
perform the ablution.
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me alone. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your brother and well wisher in
Islam,
Burhan
