Answer:
Interest halaal
In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask
for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever
He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that
there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad
(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah
verse 274-276: But those who devour ‘riba’ become like the one whom Shaitaan
has bewitched and maddened by his touch.
They have been condemned to this condition because they say, “Trade is just like ‘riba”, whereas Allah has made trade halaal and
‘riba’ haraam. Henceforth, if one abstains from taking ‘riba’ after
receiving this admonition from his Lord,
no legal action shall be taken against him regarding the ‘riba’ he had
devoured before: his case shall
ultimately go to Allah. But if one
repeats the same crime even after this,
he shall go to Hell, where he
shall abide for ever! Allah deprives
‘riba’ of all blessing, but will give increase for deeds of charity, and Allah does not like an ungrateful, sinful person.
Allah says further in the Holy Quran Chapter 2
Surah Baqarah verse 278: O Believers!,
fear Allah and give up that ‘riba’ which is still due to you, if you are true believers. But if you do not do so, then you are warned of the declaration of war against you
by Allah and His Messenger!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah
Ale-Imraan verses 130-132:
130 O ye who believe! Devour not
‘riba’ (usury) doubled and multiplied; but fear
Allah; that ye may (really) prosper.
131 Fear the fire which is prepared for those who reject faith.
132 And obey Allah and the Messenger; that ye may obtain mercy.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith 4.28 Narrated
by Abu Huraira
The Prophet (saws) said, "Avoid the seven great destructive
sins." The people enquire, "O Allah's Messenger (saws)! What are
they?" He (saws) said, "To
join others in worship along with Allah, to practice sorcery, to kill the life
which Allah has forbidden except for a just cause, (according to Islamic law), to eat up riba
(usury), to eat up
an orphan's wealth, to give back to the enemy and fleeing from the battlefield
at the time of fighting, and to accuse chaste women, who never even think of
anything touching chastity and are good believers.”
(The Prophet (saws) included ‘riba’ in one of the ‘Seven
Destructive Sins’. If we read the other
sins which accompany the list, one can
imagine what is the magnitude of the sin of ‘riba’!)
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 2829 Narrated byAli ibn AbuTalib
Ali heard Allah's Messenger (saws) invoke the
curse of Allah on those who took usury, those who paid it, those who recorded it,
and those who refused to give sadaqah.
Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 3325 Narrated byAbuHurayrah
The Prophet (saws) said: “A time is certainly
coming to mankind, when only the receiver of usury will remain, and if one does
not receive it, some of its vapor will reach him.”
Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 2827 Narrated byAbdullah ibn Mas'ud
Allah's Messenger (saws) said, "Even
though usury be much, it leads in the end to penury."
Q-1: i heard tht
the alazhar univ. in
Dear and Beloved Brother in Islam, Allah and His Messenger (saws) have clearly
declared ‘riba’ (usury) absolutely haraam and forbidden for the believers; and
the modern form of ‘interest’ is nothing but a accepted and legalized
manifestation of ‘usury’!
I have no knowledge of any ruling of the eminent scholar
and Dean of the respected Al-Azhar University of Egypt, Shaikh Al-Tantawi
declaring banking interest halaal; but in my humble opinion, it would not behove
any believer, leave alone a scholar of the rank of Shaikh Al-Tantawi to declare
halaal what Allah and His Messenger (saws) have clearly declared as haraam!
Q-1A: and if it is..are hey correct??
Dear and Beloved Brother in Islam, as believers we are to
unconditionally obey only the guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws). After Allah and His Messenger (saws) have
given their verdict on a matter, it does not matter if Shaikh Al-Azhar or all
the scholars of the world unite to give a verdict; if their verdict clashes
with the clear guidance of Allah and His Messenger (saws), it cannot be
correct!
It is highly unlikely that a scholar of the rank of Shaikh
Al-Tantawi would ever make such a judgment to declare banking interest halaal;
but even if he did, his judgment would and should be absolutely rejected by the
true believers in Allah and His Messenger (saws). Allah is our witness, neither Shaikh Tantawi
nor anyone will be present alongside the person who deals in interest to answer
for their deeds in the Just and Supreme Court of Allah Subhanah on the
Inevitable Day of Judgment, where every person will be responsible for his own
deeds!
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 33 Surah
Ahzaab verse 36: It does not behove a believing man and a believing woman that
when Allah and His Messenger have given their decision in a matter, they should exercise an option in that matter
of theirs. For whoever disobeys Allah
and His Messenger, has indeed strayed
into manifest error.
My beloved brother in Islam, I just want to clarify our position that we do not
believe that a scholar of the rank and knowledge of Shaikh Al-Tantawi would
ever give a ruling which is against the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah;
and our opinion is only based on the hypothesis of the question being asked to
us that he did.

Beloved Brother in Islam, chicken is not considered a
haraam product in its essence in Islam; thus working in a company which sells
chicken cannot be considered illegal or forbidden in Islam.

who says tht if 1 burps, he needs to dp the wudu again, because burping is just

In light of the guidance of the Quran and the Sunnah the
following would invalidate one’s wudu:
Answering the call of nature.
Deep sleep
Breaking wind or passing gas through one’s anus
Voluntary or involuntary sexual discharge
Sexual intercourse
Menstruation or child birth (for women)
There is absolutely nothing in the Quran and Sunnah which
would give rise to the belief that burping (or even vomiting) breaks or
invalidates one’s wudu. The brother who says, declares, or believes that
burping breaks one’s wudu should be asked to produce evidence from the Quran
and Sunnah for his opinion.
Al-Muwatta Hadith 2.17
Yahya related to me from Malik that he saw
Rabia ibn Abd ar-Rahman vomit several times when he was in the mosque and he
did not leave, nor did he do wudu before he prayed.
Yahya said that Malik was asked whether a man
who vomited food had to do wudu and he said, "He does not have to do wudu,
but he should rinse the inside of his mouth and wash his mouth out."
Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to
Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only
Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
