Answer:
Alphabet
in name
In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
There is
absolutely no restriction, neither recommendation nor prohibition against using
any alphabet to name one’s child. It is
the not the birth-date or the alphabet in starting the name which holds any
importance in Islam, but rather the choice of the name regardless of which
alphabet is used to start the name.
There are
literally thousands if not tens of thousands of good Islamic names, and it
would be almost impossible to list those names in this forum. One may choose a name with a good wholesome
meaning or name the girl after one of the great women personalities from the
History of Islam like Maryam, Asiya,
Khadijah, Fatema, Aisha, Zainab, Safeeyah, Ruqaiyya, etc.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me. Allah
Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
Your Brother in Islam,
Burhan
