One of our
brothers/sisters has asked this question:

well i read your answer to the
question but i had afew
questions to what your explanation and answer was,
if religion was man made hindhu muslims,christians then how can god say follow this
religion or that is the best religion???
are all humans not made from god's power and will?
are all humans not
going to die and be answerable for their good or bad deeds no matter what
religion they follow so how come u are being partial and saying that god said
this or that
i am not arguing or have anything against any religion i respect every religion and every human beings faith!
my mother is a born christian and my father a hindu
and they brought me up not imposing any kind of religion but told me to have
faith in the almighty all loving merciful god,who is one!no matter what
name u call him god,bhagwan,ishwar,allah,khuda, god
is one,love is god, u do good and be humble u wiil get good if u do bad u will be punished by god in his
own way
so how do u claim that god told us humans that islam is the perfect religion?
i have many more questions many doubts many topics to argue
about i hope and pray to get convincing answers from
you to help me debate with people who ask me about islam
since i am married to a muslim
now and converted but i don't follow it yet i mean i have learnt the way to
pray namaaz which i do but
not on a regular basis i don't like to fast cuz' i beleive
that if u do something do it with ur heart not to
show people that c i'm fasting becoz
i have to i get tempted to
food so what is the use to fast if i'm going to get tempted?,cuz' since i started
reading the quran i had a
lot of questions after reading a few pages so i
stopped reading.i hope u will answer my questions
well so i can be more at peace and clear in my mind
of what i'm following, thank you and take care please

In the
name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no
person, no grave, no prophet, no imam,
no dai,
nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that
Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.
Dear
Sister, the Creator has bestowed two things on man (and Jinn), which He has not
bestowed on any amongst His innumerable creation:
Intelligence
and the Power of Reasoning
A Free Will to choose the path of life one wishes
It is the
duty of every human being to use this bestowed intelligence and power of
reasoning, analyze thoroughly, and only then choose
the path or way of life that absolutely satisfies his heart in every
aspect. You are indeed absolutely right
and in absolute accordance with logic and reason when you say “cuz' i beleive
that if u do something do it with ur heart”; for if
one is not absolutely convinced and satisfied within his heart, one will never be
able to do anything perfectly or constantly.
Thus,
lets start with the things both of us agree upon regarding creation, things on
which any intelligent person should not have any disagreements whatsoever:
Nothing
in creation can be created by itself; but needs a creator to make it.
Man did
not create himself, nor did he evolve from monkeys (!!!), nor did he end up on
earth by accident!; but man was created by One
Creator. Indeed it does not matter what
we call this Sublime Creator, for all the good names belong to Him.
When one
looks and thinks deeply about anything created by this One and Only Creator, be
it the sun, the moon, the animals, the insects, the plants, the fruits, the
winds, the rains, etc., one will be awed at the perfection in which each thing
in creation is created! Since its very
inception, the Creator created it flawless!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 67 Surah Mulk verses 1-4:
1 Blessed be He in Whose hands is Dominion: and He over all things Hath Power.
2 He, Who created Death and Life that He may try which of you is best
in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.
3 He, Who created the seven heavens one above another; no want of
proportion wilt thou see in the Creation of (Allah) Most Gracious! So turn thy vision again! Seest
thou any flaw?
4 Again turn thy vision a second time!
(thy) vision will come back to thee, dull and
discomfited, in a state worn out.
If we
look at something as insignificant as a mosquito or look at a human being (the
best creation of the Creator), one cannot help but be awed by the flawlessness
and perfectness of the balance of His creation, the
perfect functioning of the faculties of the eyes, the nose, the ears, the
limbs, the digestive system, the nervous system, etc.! So perfect and flawless does this Supreme
Creator create each of His creation, that for millions or billions of years
there is no updates, no 2nd editions, no
corrections! He makes Perfect and
Flawless, whatever He Creates!
One need
not be a scientist or a PhD to see or study these Signs of the Creator; for
every human being can see and ponder over these Signs in the innumerable
creations of this Perfect Creator!
Simple common-sense and basic intelligence will dictate to the observer
that the Creator, who creates with such perfectness
everything in creation, has to be Perfect, All Knowing, All Wise, All Powerful,
All Mighty, and possesses Absolute Perfect Knowledge of the past as well as the
Future.
This
Sublime Creator, not only Created everything in existence, He Decreed for each of His creation its nature! He Decreed the
nature, and the temprature, and the distance, and the
movement of the sun, the moon, and the heavenly bodies! He Decreed the
nature of the inanimate creation, and He bestowed upon the animal kingdom
brains and instincts!
Every
animate and inanimate creation of this Supreme Creator submits to the Will of
their Creator!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran
Chapter 22 Surah Hajj verse 18: Seest thou not that to Allah bow down
in worship all things that are in the heavens and on earth: the sun, the moon,
the stars, the hills, the trees,the
animals, and a great number among mankind?
But a great number are (also) such as are fit for Punishment: and such
as Allah shall disgrace none can raise to honor: for Allah carries out all that
He Wills.
But to
man (and Jinn) alone He Decreed and bestowed intelligence and power of
reasoning, and a free will to chose the path of this one transitory life; and
thus put man to a test! The ones who
with their bestowed intelligence and power of reasoning recognize and submit
their given will to the Will of their Creator, He promised them His Mercy and
His Grace! And the ones who, of their
own free will, dare
to deny Him and His innumerable Signs, He promised them His Wrath and His
Anger!
The
Creator did not create man and leave him on his own to figure out the Will of
his Creator; but in His Sublime and Infinite Mercy, He sent His Messengers with
His Message to declare unto mankind the Will of their Creator, and guide them
to a ‘way of life’ approved by Him!
When
Microsoft makes a new program, or Sony invents a new TV; it is the right of the
maker to give the users a ‘manual’ or send an ‘engineer’ to give guidance to
the users! Similarly, it is the sole
right of the Creator of man, that He appoint His ‘engineers’ (Messengers) and
send His ‘manual’ (His Books) to guide mankind to the Right Path.
True
religion is not something that can be invented by man, nor can man learn the
right ‘way of life’ through his own experiences! If man tries to invent a religion or ‘way of
life’, or tries to follow some deen made by man, he
is bound to fall short; for he just does not possess the knowledge of the All
Knowing, All Wise Lord!
True
religion, or deen, or ‘way of life’ can only be from
the One Who created. And from the very
inception of the first man on earth, the Creator appointed him (Adam) as His
Prophet and guided him aright! And at
all stages and times needed, He sent His Messengers with His Message to all
parts of the earth; and the crux of His Message to all peoples of all times was
one and the same:
‘Worship
and Submit to the One Lord Who Created, and do not associate anything with Him
in worship!’.
And in
this same succession of Messengers, the All Knowing, All Wise Creator sent His
Last and Final Messenger, Mohamed ar Rasool Allah (saws) with His Last and Final Message (The Quran) that was to be a guidance for all mankind until the
end of time!
Islam
means nothing more than to surrender or submit ones will to the Will of his
Creator; and anyone who does so, will be called a ‘muslim’. And that is the approved ‘deen’
or ‘way of life’ every Prophet of the Creator invited mankind to!
Thus, the
litmus test for any religion, deen, or ‘way of life’
being the Truth is that it should be from One Who Created everything in
existence! When one strives to seek the
Truth, he should compare the ‘manuals’ or books of the man-made deens to that revealed by the Creator: The Glorious Quran! And then, the
Truth will stand clear from the falsehoods!
Now to
answer your specific questions:
Your Question 1: if religion was
man made hindhu muslims,christians then how can god say follow this religion
or that is the best religion???
Compare
the scriptures of the man-made religions, to the Scripture of the Glorious Quran, and determine for yourself which deen
and religion is man-made and which is Divine!
No man
has a right, of his own self, to declare which religion is best and which is
not! Only the Perfect Creator, who
created everything in existence has this Right; and it
is He Who has Declared this in His Glorious Message to mankind.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah
Ale-Imran verse 19: Indeed, Islam in the ONLY right way of life in the
sight of Allah.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale-Imran verse 85: And
whoever adopts any other than this way of Islam, that way shall not be accepted from
him, and in the Hereafter he shall be among the losers.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 5 Surah Al Maidah verse 3: Today I
(Allah) have perfected your deen for you and
completed my Blessing on you and approved Islam as your way of life.
The
Creator has Declared His Will; and put mankind to the test of who surrenders to
His Will, and who rejects it!
Your Question 2: are all humans
not made from god's power and will?
Not only
humans, but everything in existence is made by This One Sublime and Mighty
Creator!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 117: To Him
is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth; when He decreeth a matter, He (simply) saith
to it: "Be"; and it is.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 46 Surah Ahqaaf verse 3: We created not the heavens and the earth and all between them but
for just ends and for a term appointed: but those who reject Faith turn away
from that whereof they are warned.
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verse 21: O ye people! Worship your Guardian-Lord who created you and those
who came before you that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness.
Your Question 3: are all humans

Indeed,
every human being will taste death, and be brought back to life again in the
Presence and Majesty of the Supreme Creator on the Inevitable Day of Judgement!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah Ale Imraan verse 185: Every soul shall have a taste of death: and only on the Day of
Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and
admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of life): for the life of
this world is but goods and chattels of deception.
Your Statement 4: i am not arguing or have anything

Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 255-257:
255 Allah! There is no god but
He, the Living the Self-Subsisting Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor sleep. His are
all things in the heavens and on earth.
Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to his
creatures as) before or after or behind them.
Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne
doth extend over the heavens and the earth and He feeleth
no fatigue in guarding and preserving them.
For He is the Most High the Supreme (in glory).
256 Let there be no compulsion in religion. Truth stands out clear from
error; whoever rejects evil and believes in Allah hath grasped the most
trustworthy hand-hold that never breaks.
And Allah Heareth and Knoweth
all things.
257 Allah is the Protector of those who have faith: from the depths of
darkness He will lead them forth into light.
Of those who reject faith the patrons are the Evil Ones: from light they
will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They will be companions of the fire to dwell
therein (for ever).
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 109 Surah Kaaferoon verse 6: To you (the disbelievers) be your deen,
and to me (the believers) mine.
Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 10 Surah Yunus verses 40-44: Some of
these people will believe in (The Quran), and others will
not. Your Lord knows these
mischief-makers very well indeed. If
these people deny you,
say to them: “I am responsible for my deeds and you are for
yours. You are not accountable for what
I do, nor am I
for what you do.” There are many
among them who hear what you say, but will you make the deaf to listen
to you, even though they be incapable of
understanding this? Then there are many
others among them who see you. But will
you show the way to the blind, even though they be bereft of
sight? The fact is that Allah does not
in any way wrong the people,
but they wronged themselves!
The Quran guides the muslims
to respect the right of every human to follow the deen
or way of life one wishes to follow.

Allah says in the Holy Quran Chapter 3 Surah

not behove a humble human being, who has submitted
his will to the Will of his Creator, to claim from himself what is the best deen or religion! We only said what our Creator has Revealed in His Glorious Message to all mankind; and in Him
we have professed our belief, and to Him we have submitted our Will.

Sister in humanity, we mean absolutely no disrespect, but for seeking the
knowledge that leads to the Truth, lets humbly turn the exact same question you
asked us to your mother, (who you say was born in the Christian faith) and your
father (of Hindu faith) who told you: ‘to have faith in the almighty all loving
merciful god,who
is one! no matter what name u call him god, bhagwan,
ishwar, allah, khuda, god is one,love is god, u
do good and be humble u wiil get good if u do bad u
will be punished by god in his own way.’
To the
best of my knowledge, the Christians believe in God as one of three in the
Trinity; and the Hindus profess to have at least 330 million gods!
So the
question arises, what deen or way of life did your
parents teach you? How and where did they come to this conclusion that the All
Mighty, All Loving, All Merciful Lord is One? Did they renounce and reject the
religion they were born into? Or did they learn this knowledge from their own
experiences? Or from some Scripture? Or did they
invent their own religion?
How can
you claim that the religion, or deen, or ‘way of
life’ your parents taught you is the True religion?
Your Statement 7: i have many more questions many doubts many topics to argue
about
If your
mission is indeed to seek and satisfy your heart with the Truth, and if our
Lord Wills, we shall consider it an honor to reply your every question, every
doubt, and every topic.
We shall
try to the best of our knowledge and our ability to present every answer to you
from the Guidance of the Last and Final Message of the Creator, The Holy Quran; and we assure you that every answer based on The Quran will be in complete harmony with logic, common-sense,
intelligence, and sound reasoning.
Allah says in Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah aayat 185: "Ramadan
is the month in which the Quran was sent down: this
Book is a Perfect Guidance for mankind and consists of CLEAR Teachings which
show the
Allah says in the Holy Quran: Chapter 16, Surah An-Nahl Ayat
125: Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and excellent admonition and
argue with people in the best manner. Your Lord knows best who has gone astray
from His Way and who is Rightly guided.
Our
Creator has commanded the believers to invite all who want to listen to good
caution to the ‘way of the Lord’ with wisdom and excellent admonition, and to
argue with people in the best and most polite manner. It will be our mission to adhere to this
noble Command of our Lord, and invite all those who are earnest in their search
for the Truth to the Sublime Truth from the Lord and Creator of the Worlds.
Your Question 8: anam(my muslim name) why did i have to
change my identity to accept islam??? i still wonder????
One is
not required to change one’s name when one accepts Islam, unless of course
one’s name is linked to a pagan god like ‘Rambhakt’
(worshipper of Ram), or Abdus-Shams (slave of the
sun), etc. It is not the name that will
make one earn the Mercy and Grace of the Creator, but it is the faith and deeds
of the person!
Your
original name, to the best of our knowledge means ‘poetry’ and is a perfectly
good, acceptable and honorable name in the sight of Islam. If you wished to keep your original name and
embrace Islam, you could have done so: and if you wished to change your name to
‘Anam’ of your own free will, it was your decision
and choice.
If you do
not mind us saying so, and sister we mean absolutely no disrespect or contempt,
but just for the sake of your knowledge, the name ‘Anam’
literally means ‘the cattle’ in the Arabic language! Although it is the name of the sixth Surah of the Glorious Quran, it is not
considered the best name to be given to a believer.

Since you
have specifically asked me what I think, my beloved sister, I think one does
not do a favor in the least on the All Mighty Lord, or the muslim
Ummah, or anyone else in creation when one chooses of
his/her own free will to accept the approved way of life called Islam; the only
person one does a favor to, is him/her self!
The All Mighty, All Powerful Creator is absolutely Self-Sufficient and Free from all wants from anyone and anything in creation!
Allah Says in the Holy Quran Chapter 49 Surah Hujurat verse 17: They impress on thee as favor that they have embraced Islam? Say "Count not your Islam as a favor upon
me: Nay!
Allah has conferred a favor upon you that He has guided you to the
Faith, if ye be true and sincere.
Whatever
written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance,
and whatever of error is of me. Allah
Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.
