Hinduism and Buddism are stolen from Islam

Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,

As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.  (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)

One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:

Considering your brotherhoods astounding and altrusitic work with the poltheists, i was wondering if you knew that Hinduism and Buddhism are both religions and philosophies stolen from Islam, and revelations of Islamic Prophets. No need for out of context Quranic translations, to scare off people. Just answer the question in your own words. I myself know Arabic fluently and realise the mistakes in your translations make even a 9 year old boy, born in Mecca, to laugh out loud.

Do answer this question,

and send your response to the entire mailing list.

Take care,

Answer:

Hinduism and Buddism are stolen from Islam

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

For the answer to your question, we will try not to give you any Quranic verse as evidence.  The believers faith and imaan increase whenever they hear the clear aayahs of the Quran; and simultaneously, it warns and puts fear into the hearts of the disbelievers.

Your Question:  I was wondering if you knew that Hinduism and Buddhism are both religions and philosophies stolen from Islam, and revelations of Islamic Prophets.

Since the specific Prophets that were sent to the various regions and communities on the earth are not mentioned in the Holy Quran, we can neither deny nor confirm that Hinduism and Buddhism are derivatives of Islamic theology.  In any case, the way and practice of these two religions in the present form, have nothing to do with Islam. It has always been that whenever the Prophets of Allah were sent to a community, over time, they mixed the deen of Tawheed brought by the Prophets with their own ideas and inventions of idol-worship and the invocation of their holy personalities; and thus moved away from the Siraat al Mustaqeem (Straight Path of Islam).

And if you are rightful in your claim that these two religions are derived from Islamic Prophets, give us your proof, and name the Prophets of Allah that were sent to these communities.

Your statement: I myself know Arabic fluently and realise the mistakes in your translations make even a 9 year old boy, born in Mecca, to laugh out loud.

Brother, we have quoted literally hundreds of aayahs from the Quran in our various articles.  Since Allah has blessed you to understand the Arabic language, we urge you to take any one aayah we have quoted, and prove it to our readers that what we have quoted is indeed the false translation.  You have obviously tried to refute all the aayahs in a blanket coverage, which is obviously not very intelligent nor conclusive.   In search of the Truth, we challenge you to pick out any aayah of your choice from our various articles, and let us know where we have made the mistake.

But if you are one of those who derives pleasure from refuting the clear aayahs of the Holy Quran, know it well, that we shall all be gathered in the Court of Allah on an Inevitable Day to give a full reckoning of our deeds.

Whatever written of Truth and benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error is of me.  Allah Alone Knows Best and He is the Only Source of Strength.

Your Brother in Islam,

Burhan
