Burhan is not a mumin name.
Mu' meneen Brothers and Sisters,
As Salaam Aleikum wa Rahmatullahi
wa Barakatuh. (May Allah's Peace, Mercy and Blessings be upon all of you)
One of our brothers/sisters has asked this question:
the big mistake you have done to prove that you are a
qasre aali is you dont write your full name after your letter.
there is no name as burhan in mumin.
(There may be some grammatical and spelling errors in the above statement. The forum does not change anything from questions, comments and statements received from our readers for circulation in confidentiality.)
Answer:
In the name
of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever
Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray, none can
guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no
grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
The arabic word ‘Qasre-Aali’ literally means, ‘(the ones or
abiders of) The High Palaces’, insinuating that these people are the owners or
abiders of the High Palaces Allah has promised to the people of Paradise! We take refuge and protection in Allah, in
claiming for ourselves anything which is in the Dominion, Power and Sovereignty
of Allah Subhanah Alone. Allah, the All
Powerful, All Mighty, will Himself Alone decide who deserves to go to Paradise
and who deserves to go to Hell. No
one, absolutely no one, can decide on Allah’s behalf who deserves what, and no
one, not a soul, who truly fears Allah and the Last Day, will claim anything
which belongs to the Dominion and Power of Allah Subhanah Alone. Whoever does so, will be severely
accountable to Allah on the Day of Judgement.
We have never claimed (Allah forbid) to be from the
‘Qasre-Aali”! We are nothing but the
created slave/servants of our Lord and Creator, Allah Subhanah. May Allah guide the people who, in their
arrogance and/or ignorance, have claimed the title of ‘Qasre-Aali’ or ‘the
owners of the High Palaces in Paradise’, for themselves!
And just to satisfy your query, my name was given by the
Syedna himself. And the name given to
me by my parents was Burhan-uddin, and my father’s name was Mohamed. Thus my full name is Burhan-uddin Mohamed,
and I am no more than a humble ‘abd’ (slave-servant) of my Creator, Allah
Subhanah.
The recognition of a muslim and a ‘mu’min’ is never by his
name in the Court of Allah. The
recognition of a muslim or mu’min, will be according to his belief and his
deeds! A true mu’min in the sight of
Allah is one who sincerely believes in Allah, His Angels, His Messengers, His
Revealed Books, Destiny or ‘Qadr’, and the concept of the Hereafter. A true mu’min is he who lives his life in
total submission of his will to that of Allah’s, and fears standing in the
Court of Allah on the inevitable Day of Judgement!
May Allah guide you and us all to the Straight Path of
Islam.
Whatever
