20) Chapter: What Has Been Related About What Is Recommend Regarding Horses

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:

That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The blessing of the horse is in its redness."

[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib, we do not know of it except from this route, from the narration of Shaiban.

20) باب مَا جَاءَ مَا يُسْتَحَبُّ مِنَ الْخَيْلِ

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ الْهَاشِمِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا شَيْبَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ شَيْبَانَ ‏.‏ "‏ يُمْنُ الْخَيْلِ فِي الشُّقْرِ ‏"
