It was narrated that Sa'eed bin Jubair said: "Strong drink is unlawful, and a 'goodly provision' (is lawful)."

أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَصِينٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، قَالَ السَّكَرُ حَرَامٌ وَالرِّزْقُ الْحَسَنُ حَلاَلٌ ‏.‏
