56) Chapter: It is disliked to enter at night when coming home from a journey
Another version of the tradition narrated on the same authority worded slightly differently. It says: (He) would not enter (upon his household at night).

56) باب كَرَاهَةِ الطُّرُوقِ وَهُوَ الدُّخُولُ لَيْلاً لِمَنْ وَرَدَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ ‏‏
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بِمِثْلِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ لاَ يَدْخُلُ ‏.
