35) Chapter: The Severity (of Punishment) In Missing The 'asr Prayer

Abdullah relates on the authority of his father. He who missed his afternoon prayer it is as though he was deprived of his family and property.

35) باب التَّغْلِيظِ فِي تَفْوِيتِ صَلاَةِ الْعَصْرِ ‏

وَحَدَّثَنِي هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الأَيْلِيُّ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏‏ ‏.‏ "‏ مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْعَصْرُ فَكَأَنَّمَا وُتِرَ أَهْلَهُ وَمَالَهُ ‏"
