43) Chapter: How do the people give the Bai'a to the Imam
Narrated Yazid:
I said to Salama, "For what did you give the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) on the Day of
Hudaibiya?" He replied, "For death."
43) باب كَيْفَ يُبَايِعُ الإِمَامُ النَّاسَ
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمٌ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسَلَمَةَ عَلَى أَىِّ شَىْءٍ بَايَعْتُمُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ قَالَ عَلَى الْمَوْتِ.
