40) Chapter: Skin Of Dead Animals
The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by al-Zuhri who did not mention Maimunah. This version has:
He said: Why did you not make use of it ? He then mentioned the rest of the tradition to the same effect but did not mention tanning.
40) باب فِي أُهُبِ الْمَيْتَةِ
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ لَمْ يَذْكُرْ مَيْمُونَةَ قَالَ فَقَالَ . ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ الدِّبَاغَ . " أَلاَ انْتَفَعْتُمْ بِإِهَابِهَا "
