why idol worship was abolished by Prophet Muhammad (saws) finally & those

Answer:
Why didn’t the Prophet (saws)
allow idol worship?
In the name of Allah, We praise
Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness.
Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and whoever He allows to fall astray,
none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person,
no grave, no prophet, no
imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone,
and we bear witness that Muhammad(saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of
His Messengers.
The invocation or worshipping of
any thing or being other than the Being of Allah Subhanah
is the single biggest sin the sight of the Merciful Lord! Each and every Prophet of Allah that came on
the earth cautioned the people of this gravest of all sins, and guided them to invoke and worship
none but the One True Lord, Who created
everything in existence.
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 10 Surah Hud verses 25-26: We sent Noah to
his people (with a
mission): "I have come to you with a Clear Warning: "That ye
serve none but Allah (Alone):
Verily! I do fear for you the Penalty
of a Grievous
Day."
Allah says in the Holy Quran
Chapter 10 Surah Hud verse
50: To the `Ad People (We sent) Hud, one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah
(Alone) ! Ye
have no other god but Him. (Your other
gods) are
nothing but falsehood that you have
forged!
Allah says in the Holy Quran
Chapter 10 Surah Hud verse
61: To the Thamud People (We sent) Salih one of their own brethren. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah (Alone) :
Ye have no other god but Him. It is He
Who hath produced you from the earth and settled you therein: then ask forgiveness of Him and turn to Him
(in repentance): for my Lord in (always)
near ready to answer."
Allah says in the Holy Quran
Chapter 10 Surah Hud verse
84: To the Madyan people (We sent) Shuaib,
one of their own brethren:
He said: "O my people!
Worship Allah (Alone) : Ye have no other god
but Him. And give not short measure or
weight: I see you in prosperity but I fear for you the Penalty of a Day that
will compass (you) all round.
Every Prophet of Allah Subhanah who was sent on earth came with the same message
of Tauheed or Islamic Monotheism to guide people to
leave aside all their other self-invented gods, and invoke and worship the One True
Lord and Creator Alone! They invited
their people to the One Creator with logic, and reasoning, and patience;
some believed, but most of the
arrogant people disbelieved in their
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 21-22: O ye people!
Adore your Guardian-Lord who created you and those who came before you
that ye may have the chance to learn righteousness.
(He) Who has made the earth
your couch, and
the heaven your canopy; and sent down
rain from the heavens; and brought forth
therewith fruits for your sustenance;
then set not up rivals unto Allah,
when ye know (the truth).
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 27 Surah Naml verses 59-64:
59 Say: Praise be to Allah
and Peace on His servants whom He has chosen (for his Message). (Who) is better? Allah or the false gods
they (the disbelievers) associate with Him?
60 Or who has created the heaven and the earth and
who sends you down rain from the sky?
Yea, with
it We cause to grow well-planted orchards full of beauty and delight: it is not in your power to cause the growth
of the trees in them. (Can there be
another) god besides Allah? Nay! They are a people who swerve from justice.
61 Or who has made the earth firm to live in; made rivers in its
midst; set thereon mountains
immovable; and made a separating bar
between the two bodies of flowing water?
(Can there be another) god besides Allah? Nay! Most of them know not.
62 Or who listens to the (soul) distressed when it
calls on Him, and
who relieves its suffering and makes you (mankind) inheritors of the
earth? (Can there be another) god
besides Allah? Little it is that ye
heed!
63 Or who guides you through the depths of darkness
on land and sea, and
who sends the winds as heralds of glad tidings going before His mercy? (Can there be another) god besides
Allah? High is Allah above what they
associate with Him!
64 Or who originates Creation then repeats it, and who gives you
sustenance from heaven and earth? (Can
there be another) god besides Allah?
Say "Bring forth your argument if ye are telling the truth!"
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumur verse 6: He created you (all) from a single person: then created of like nature his mate; and He sent down for you eight head of cattle
in pairs: He makes you in the wombs of
your mothers in stages, one after
another, in three veils of darkness. Such is Allah your Lord and Cherisher: to Him belongs (all) Dominion. There is no god but He: then how are ye turned away (from the Truth)?
The real question, thus should be, why do people invoke or worship idols, graves,
images, objects of nature, or any
other objects and beings instead (or with)
Allah Subhanah???
These idols or graves by itself
never can guide, nor
create anything, nor can help, nor can hear,
nor can they do anything for themselves or the ones who invoke them! Then why invoke or worship them when they
can do nothing….absolutely nothing!!!
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 26 Surah Shuaraa verse 69-82:And tell them the story of Ibrahim, when he asked his father and his people: “What are
these things that you worship?” They
answered, “These are idols which we worship and we serve them devotedly.” Ibrahim asked, “Do
they hear you when you call on them? Or
do they bring any good or harm to you?”
They replied, “No,
but we have found our elders doing the same.” At this, Ibrahim
said, “Have you ever seen with open eyes the things which you and your elders
have been worshipping? They are all enemies
to me, except
the One Lord of the Worlds, Who created
me, then He it is Who guides me, Who gives me food and drink, and Who gives me health when I am ill, Who will cause me to die and then will give
me life again, and of Whom I expect that
He will forgive me my errors on the Day of Judgment.”
The belief of these idol or
grave worshippers is that behind every idol or image or grave is a personality, whom the people
consider extremely pious and close to the All Mighty Lord. These ignorant people, just because they cannot see the All
Mighty Lord, then make images, or idols,
or take their graves and start serving and celebrating them in their
false belief that if these personalities behind their idols and graves are
happy with them, and because of their
influence with the Creator, they can get
their supplications answered from Him!
And behind every idol, every
image, and every grave there is always a
group of unscrupulous religiously-clad supposedly ‘holy’ people who propagate
the wonders and miracles their idols and graves have ‘supposedly’ done in the
past for many distressed souls …. And these ignorant followers follow all their
demands, and
perform all the rites and rituals according to their whims and fancies, and try their utmost to obey these false
‘holy’ men, and please these idols and
graves…in the false hope that they might receive some good! And in their ignorance, these people give all their
devotion, and time, and service,
and sacrifice, and invocation, and worship to their false gods … and thus
deny or share the biggest Right of their True Creator and Sustainer!
This sin of associating, invoking, and worshipping other objects or beings with
Allah Subhanah (or ‘shirk) is so abhorrent, and so
despicable, and so despised in the sight
of Allah Subhanah…that He has Himself declared that
He will, if He Pleases, forgive all sins of man, but He will never ever forgive the person who
commits ‘shirk’ on the Day of
Judgment! He has Himself declared that
He has forbidden
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 5 Surah Maidah verse 72:Whoever commits
‘shirk’ (invoking anything with Allah),
Allah shall forbid for him
Allah says in the Quran: Chapter 4 Surah An-Nisa Verse 48:Shirk (associating
other deities with Allah) is the only sin that Allah does not forgive, and He
forgives, whomsoever He pleases, sins other than this. For whosoever associates any other partner
with Allah, does indeed forge a big lie and commits the most heinous sin
Allah says in the Holy
Quran Chapter 39 Surah Zumar verse 65-66:If you commit
‘shirk’ all your works will be rendered vain and you will be among the
losers. Therefore, you should worship Allah Alone, and be among His grateful servants.
Thus the Merciful Lord, sent His Messengers
and revealed His Books of Guidance to give good news to the people who believed
in Him and His Guidance, of His Mercy
and eternal Reward; and warn the evil
and arrogant people who refused to accept Him Alone as their Lord and Sustainer
of His Wrath and everlasting Punishment!
Whatever written of Truth and
benefit is only due to Allah’s Assistance and Guidance, and whatever of error
is of me. Allah Alone Knows Best and He
is the Only Source of Strength.
