Asslaam alikum,

Received below email couple of days ago!My Questions is-how did you get my e-address? and why this mail was sent to me only, and not to any of my bohra friends from Udaipur, India (we are almost 80 of us in new york/new jesey area)?! By the way, I am not complaining, actually I am glade that I received it. I hope to learn more about Islam and good things for/about life-in-general from this forum.

Question# 2-when I click at any of the archived Q & A, I get URL not found response?!

In the name of Allah, We praise Him, seek His help and ask for His forgiveness. Whoever Allah guides none can misguide, and who-ever He allows to fall astray, none can guide them aright. We bear witness that there is no one (no idol, no person, no grave, no prophet, no imam, no dai, nobody!) worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Muhammad (saws) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers.

 

We might have received your address from any number of sources, or sometimes as a recommendation by the brothers and sisters who are on our mailing list.  We really do not keep a record of how the addresses of the brothers and sisters were collected, but do implore our readers to send us the addresses of anyone who they would  like to be included in the mailing list,  for the Pleasure of Allah Subhanah.   Close to 10,000 brothers and sisters are on our mailing list who receive our articles every week.  We encourage our brethren to ask us any question regarding Islam; and we will try our best to give our answers in light of the Holy Quran and Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws).

 

Thus, if you have any addresses which you would like us to include in our mailing list, we would be more than happy to include them.  It will Insha Allah, be a means of reward for you from Allah Subhanah on the Day of Judgment, for helping in the Cause of Allah and the Truth.

We are not experiencing this problem, nor have we received any complains about our archive articles from anyone on the forum.  It could be that there might be a setting difference in your computer.  Anyways, we assure that we will look into this immediately.  Brother, if you need any of the archive answers, just send us that question and we will forward the answer to you, Insha Allah.
